Nate Diaz Rips 'Cheater' Georges St-Pierre, Says UFC Is Selling 'Wolf Tickets'
Nate Diaz has accused Georges St-Pierre of being on steroids and getting favorable treatment from UFC to help sell shows.
In a post on Facebook, Diaz said St-Pierre was using performance-enhancing drugs leading up to GSP's fight with Nick Diaz at UFC 158 in March 2013 and that UFC is trying to sell fans "wolf tickets" (warning: post contains strong language):
Diaz's comments come after UFC President Dana White said on the UFC Unfiltered podcast this week he was working on putting together a fight between Diaz and St-Pierre.
“But we are working right now to put together a Georges St-Pierre vs Nate Diaz fight," White said, via Bloody Elbow's Anton Tabuena. "It is true, and they would fight at 155-pounds. In my perfect world, if everything goes perfect—and nothing ever goes perfect in this world—(UFC 227 will have) Dillashaw vs Garbrandt, GSP vs Diaz would be the co-main, Gustafsson vs Rockhold and Brunson vs Antonio Carlos Jr.”
Diaz hasn't fought since losing to Conor McGregor at UFC 202 in August 2016. The 33-year-old told ESPN's Brett Okamoto in February he wanted to make a comeback against UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.
St-Pierre defeated Michael Bisping to win the middleweight title at UFC 217 after a four-year hiatus. He later vacated the championship after announcing he was suffering from ulcerative colitis.
