The 2017-18 Premier League season draws to a close on Sunday, when Chelsea travel to Newcastle United looking to complete a late dash for fourth place amid 10 simultaneous kick-offs .

Liverpool are hoping to keep them out of the UEFA Champions League qualification spots. The Reds would secure fourth with as little as a draw at home to Brighton & Hove Albion and could possibly climb to third with three points at Anfield.

Tottenham Hotspur occupy that spot and are two points in front of the Reds as they prepare to host a Leicester City side that bounced back to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over 10-man Arsenal on Wednesday.

Arsenal travel to Huddersfield Town in what will be Arsene Wenger's last game as Gunners manager. The Terriers are safe from relegation, but a wild swing of scores could still see Swansea City pull off a great escape at Southampton's expense.

Just about every Premier League storyline seemed finalised not long ago, but Chelsea's 1-0 win over Liverpool in Week 36—a day after Tottenham Hotspur fell to West Bromwich Albion—reopened the top-four battle once again.

Chelsea still need Liverpool to lose at home to Brighton in order to have a chance of finishing fourth, although manager Antonio Conte recently summarised how impressive it is they are fighting for the spot again at all, per Goal:

The only other method for Chelsea to take fourth would be if they beat Newcastle by 16 goals while Jurgen Klopp's side draw against the Seagulls.

Tottenham host Leicester and will want to fight for maximum points in order to stop Liverpool leapfrogging them into third, while north London rivals Arsenal say their final goodbye to Wenger.

Their manager of nearly 22 years bid farewell to the Emirates Stadium in Week 36, and emotions are sure to be running high at the John Smith's Stadium on Sunday.

At the other end of the table, Swansea are fighting for what seems to be an unlikely survival when they host relegated Stoke City.

The Welsh outfit need to beat the Potters by five goals and hope Manchester City do equal damage to Southampton to overturn the 10-goal difference separating them from Saints, who are 17th and three points ahead of the Swans.

Top-flight survival is still a possibility, but the Guardian's Stuart James cast a glum view over Swansea's upper management ahead of what could be their last Premier League appearance for some time:

While the parameters needed for Swansea to escape the drop seem far-fetched, it's worth noting Stoke haven't won in 13 games, and it's not unrealistic to envision City scoring five against a foe so close to the base of the table.
