La Liga Table 2018 Week 36: Standings and Final Scores After Sunday
There were four goals and a red card when Barcelona and Real Madrid drew 2-2 in the final Clasico of this La Liga season at the Camp Nou on Sunday.
The stalemate means champions Barca remain on course to finish the season unbeaten. Meanwhile, Madrid can draw level with neighbours Atletico Madrid in second if they win their game in hand away to Sevilla on Wednesday.
Atleti missed the chance to widen the gap over their local rivals when they slipped to a 2-0 defeat at home to Espanyol. Sunday also featured Alaves putting three past already-relegated Malaga, while Getafe won in Las Palmas.

The fuse for a fiery and frenetic Clasico was lit when Sergi Roberto teed up Luis Suarez to put the hosts in front after just 10 minutes. His close-range finish meant Suarez maintained a stunning run of goals and assists dating back to his final season at Liverpool, per Squawka Football:
Never one to be outdone, Cristiano Ronaldo bundled in an equaliser four minutes later. In the process, Madrid's prolific No. 7 drew level with a club legend for goals against the old enemy, according to OptaJose:
The drama was ratcheted up a notch deep into first-half stoppage time when Roberto was shown a red card following a clash with Marcelo.
Barca weren't awed by the task of surviving another 45 minutes against Madrid a man short. Instead, attacking talisman Lionel Messi provided the perfect answer to Ronaldo's goal by finding the net himself seven minutes after the restart.
The fine solo effort meant Messi kept his status as the deadliest marksman on the domestic stage, per WhoScored.com:
Three points looked as though they belonged to Barca until Gareth Bale curled in a brilliant strike 18 minutes from time. The Welshman has found playing time hard to come by amid injuries this season but made the most of a rare start.
Bale had equalised, but the former Tottenham Hotspur forward may have been fortunate to still be on the pitch after being guilty of a series of rash fouls.
Referee Alejandro Jose Hernandez Hernandez found the game difficult to control, although The Spanish Football Podcast joked his actions will have pleased supporters eager for something to bemoan:
Earlier, an Atletico side likely focused more on the upcoming UEFA Europa League final against Marseille was caught cold by Espanyol. The visitors to the Wanda Metropolitano went ahead when Oscar Melendo's effort went in off Atleti centre-back Stefan Savic.
Leo Baptistao doubled Espanyol's advantage in the 77th minute, as Los Rojiblancos lacked their usual cutting edge with star striker Diego Costa rested and winger Antoine Griezmann on the bench.
Things were just as easy for Alaves at La Rosaleda Stadium. Manu Garcia, Ermedin Demirovic and Ibai Gomez all found the net for the visitors, to leave Alaves three points short of the top 10.
Getafe did their European hopes the power of good despite leaving it late to pile more misery on relegated Las Palmas. Angel Luis Rodriguez Diaz netted the winner two minutes from time.
