Tiger Woods Struggles in 2nd Round of 2018 Wells Fargo Championship
Tiger Woods is in danger of missing the cut at the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina, after shooting a two-over 73 on Friday, putting him at two over par for the tournament.
A birdie on his last hole of the day, No. 9, may have saved him, as the projected cut line was two-over at the time of publication.

It was a disappointing showing for Woods, even in the context of his return to action in 2018. He has struggled at Quail Hollow in the past, failing to make the cut in 2010 and 2012, per Kyle Porter of CBS Sports.
After placing second at the Valspar Championship and fifth at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March, Woods has come back to earth. He finished 32nd at the Masters last month, and barring an epic turnaround, he is out of contention in Charlotte.
His earlier results inspired confidence, but his recent play is a reminder that the 42-year-old Woods is still figuring things out after years of injury and far from his past dominant form.
