Masters Leaderboard 2018: Updates on Golf's Top Scorers on Friday
After an intriguing opening round of golf, the 2018 Masters is alive and well as some of the sport's top names are either looking to build off a strong first 18 holes or rally back from a forgettable day.
One of those golfers looking to move on from yesterday's first round is last year's Masters champion, Sergio Garcia. There's no easy way of putting this, but Garcia had a rough time finding any type of success on the course at Augusta, Georgia.
Tied for 83rd in the field on nine-over entering Friday, it's hard to imagine Garcia making the cut even with a full day of golf ahead of him.
But don't think that just because Garcia had a bad day he'll let it ruin his demeanor through the weekend:

Friday Updates
While it's still too early to say that Day 2 has been difficult for most of the tournament's golfers, it's certainly not off to a great start.
After an impressive showing on Thursday, Jordan Spieth has fallen off a bit through his first three holes on Friday and is currently three-under overall and three-over on the day. Despite that poor start, he's still tied for first place on the leaderboards through three holes with the likes of Rory McIlroy and Matt Kuchar.
Again, as the day progresses, don't forget to check out the live blog for updated results.
Here's a quick look at the current leaderboard:
Friday Score Updates (as of 12 p.m. ET)
Jordan Spieth (-3)
Matt Kuchar (-3)
Tony Finau (-3)
Rory McIlroy (-3)
Rafael Cabrera-Bello (-3)
Henrik Stenson (-3)
Patrick Reed (-3)
Charley Hoffman (-3)
Adam Hadwin (-3)
So far, no one has taken advantage of some poor play through the early rounds of Day 2, but that's not to say that someone won't.
Here's a look at Friday's upcoming tee times:
Friday afternoon tee times
1:05 p.m. H Matsuyama (Jpn), P Kizzire (U.S.), P Casey (Eng)
1:16 p.m. Z Johnson (U.S.), M Kaymer (Ger), B Grace (SA)
1:27 p.m. T Woods (U.S.), M Leishman (Aus), T Fleetwood (Eng)
1:38 p.m. S Garcia (Spa), J Thomas (U.S.), D Redman (U.S.)
1:49 p.m. B Watson (U.S.), H Stenson (Swe), J Day (Aus)
2:00 p.m. P Reed (U.S.), C Hoffman (U.S.), A Hadwin (Can)
For the curious fans out there who are watching to see how Tiger Woods will do, don't worry. He will tee off around 1:27 p.m. ET, beginning his day on one-over but with plenty of time to get back within the top 10.
While Garcia might be out of the running to repeat as Masters champion, it will still be fun to watch him try to make up as much ground as possible over the next 18 holes when he tees off along with Justin Thomas at 1:38 p.m.
So far, Thomas is T-38th on two-over but will surely be able to bounce back on Friday and get under par. If he doesn't, it will be a bit of a shock to see one of the tournament's favorites this far behind the front of the pack after 36 holes.
