Buddy Morris: Some Things Made Me Want to 'Drink Heavily' After Cards' 1st Day
The first day of the Arizona Cardinals' offseason program was a mixed bag for strength and conditioning coach Buddy Morris.
"Today was a good day for us," Morris said Tuesday, according to the Arizona Republic's Kent Somers. "It wasn't great. It wasn't average. I saw some great things. I saw some things that make me want to go home and drink heavily."
Morris added that he's not a fan of players who work out with personal trainers, who he refers to as "personal terrorists." He believes those sessions can instill bad habits that need to be fixed when the team convenes for group workouts.

"I'm to the point now I'd rather have [players] do nothing because you've got to correct everything.
"Also, not a fan of social media. It's ruined this country. So when my guys walk into their personal terrorist, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram. That stuff is ridiculous."
On the bright side, the Cardinals still have plenty of time to meet Morris' high standards.
