Andrew Luck to Begin Colts Offseason Workouts on April 9, Says GM Chris Ballard
Although there are plenty of question marks about Andrew Luck's health moving forward, Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard remains encouraged.
Ballard said on ESPN's The Adam Schefter Podcast Monday that Luck will start offseason workouts with the team on April 9.
After missing the entire 2018 season with a shoulder injury, simply getting any workouts is definitely a positive for the 28-year-old quarterback.

Ballard had previously said he expected Luck to start throwing in April or May while also ruling out another potential surgery, per Mike Wells of ESPN. He was also certain the quarterback would be available for the start of the 2018 season.
"Do I have any doubt that he's going to be ready? No, I don't," he said in February.
While there is always concern about the health of a young quarterback, there is extra reason to be suspicious after plenty of confusion during the 2017 season. The team refused to put him on injured reserve immediately and he continually seemed close to a return.
After limited practice time during the season, however, he suffered a setback with his injury and was ruled out for the entire year.
The Colts went just 4-12 in his absence, so it's clear the squad would be extremely excited about his return. On the other hand, the player's long-term health is arguably more important after he signed a six-year deal worth $140 million before the 2016 season.
Everyone wants to see him back on the field, but we can believe it when we see it.
