Arsenal Transfer News: Gunners Ready to Sell Aaron Ramsey in Latest Rumours
Key figures at Arsenal are reportedly concerned Aaron Ramsey will not sign a new contract with the club, and the Gunners are thus prepared to sell the midfielder in the summer.
According to Rob Draper of the Mail on Sunday, the Wales international will opt against signing an extension in the coming months, taking his Arsenal deal into its final year, as was the case with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil this term.
Sanchez ended up moving to Manchester United in exchange for Henrikh Mkhitaryan in January, and Ozil signed an extension at the Emirates Stadium.

Draper said "the club have begun identifying replacements" and would rather sell the former Cardiff City man than see him head into the final year of his deal, which expires in 2019.
Ramsey has been at Arsenal for a little under 10 years and has established himself as a first-team regular in that time. This season has been testing for the 27-year-old, though, as he's struggled for fitness and consistency.
He and Jack Wilshere were viewed as the long-term midfield future at the Emirates Stadium earlier in their careers, although as Sky Sports Statto noted, they have not been in the same team too often of late:
Ramsey may not boast the same technical ability as Wilshere or the same physicality as someone like Granit Xhaka, but he is a sharp footballer.
When give licence to burst forward, Ramsey can cause big issues for defenders. He times his runs into the penalty area excellently, picks clever passes in tight positions and, when he does get a sight of goal, he's proved himself to be a fine finisher.
In a team that contains so many delicate manipulators of the ball, the Wales international brings a thrust to the Arsenal side. Per Squawka Football, he often makes a tangible contribution:
Additionally, as WhoScored.com illustrated earlier in the season, Ramsey is also tenacious in his attempts to win the ball back for his team high up the pitch:
Losing him for a knockdown price would be a big blow, as Ramsey has been vital to Arsenal's success in recent seasons.
Not only has he made some big contributions in the Premier League, but the midfielder netted FA Cup final winners against Hull City in 2014 and against Chelsea last season.

Additionally, in a team full of players who are quick to shirk responsibility when things aren't going well, Ramsey never hides on the field. He always wants the ball and is always trying to be positive with possession.
As Draper noted, manager Arsene Wenger's position is under scrutiny, meaning he could also leave in the summer. With the potential for a number of huge outgoings on and off the pitch, a seismic summer of change may well be in store at the Emirates Stadium.
