Arsenal Transfer News: Gunners Interested in Daniele Rugani in Latest Rumours
Arsenal are weighing up a deal for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani, with the Gunners seeking to take advantage of his lack of playing time in Turin.
That's according to Daniel Cutts and Simone Togna of The Sun, who noted Arsenal could be set to revive their interest in the player.
Cutts and Togna provided comments from Rugani's representative Davide Torchia saying the club have made a move for his services previously:

"Rugani is an international player. He could play in any league. So also in UK.
"He's young. Elegant in the way of playing. I know that various top European clubs follow him. Some are English.
"Arsenal? In the past, some seasons ago, we spoke with them. At the moment there are no official contact with them."
Torchia added Rugani is happy at Juventus, but "if they were to receive a big offer for him, maybe he could be sold."
The 23-year-old has made just 16 appearances in all competitions this season, with just three coming in 2018—which is somewhat unexpected following Leonardo Bonucci's departure to AC Milan at the start of the campaign.
Rugani arrived in Turin in the summer of 2015 on the back of a sensational campaign with Empoli, but he has struggled for game time having made a total of 57 outings in a Bianconeri shirt.
He recently impressed in Juve's 1-0 win over Torino, though, per Juventus analyst Arjun Pradeep and Copa90's Aaron West:
The centre-back is an impressive prospect, offering composure in defence that belies his years.
Arsenal could undoubtedly make use of the already accomplished defender. They've shipped 36 goals in the Premier League this season, the most of any side in the top seven.
Former Premier League star Jermaine Jenas discussed their weakness in defence on BBC 5 live Sport:
However, it's unlikely Juventus will be prepared to part with a player who looks set to play a key role in their future, even if he has not been given the chance he perhaps deserves thus far.
Andrea Barzagli will be 37 at the end of the season, while Giorgio Chiellini will be 34 in the summer, so Rugani should be handed a more important berth in the near future.
