Olympic Freestyle Skiing Schedule 2018: Live Stream for Men's Ski Cross

Christopher SimpsonFeb 20, 2018

The men's ski cross will get under way at the 2018 Winter Olympics on Wednesday (Tuesday in the United States) as Victor Ohling Norberg looks to defend his title in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

The event combines the timed racing of alpine skiing with the jumps and terrain of freestyle, and with multiple competitors on the course at the same time, there's plenty of scope for thrills and spills.

Here is the complete schedule for the men's event at Phoenix Snow Park:

The action can be streamed via the NBC Sports app (U.S.), BBC iPlayer and Eurosport Player (UK).

Ohling Norberg will have his eyes set on the gold medal once again, but his form heading into the Games has not been spectacular.

After seven races in the FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup, the Swede ranks only 14th in the ski cross rankings, just behind Canadian duo Chris Del Bosco and Brady Leman, who respectively collected silver and bronze at Sochi 2014.

Switzerland's Marc Bischofberger leads the way after he claimed back-to-back wins in Innichen, Italy, in December.

He impressed in the big final on December 21, per FISfreestyle:

A day later, he won again:

Bischofberger has only finished outside the top 10 once in seven races, having also finished second at Idre Fjall in Sweden, third in Nakiska, Canada, and fourth in Arosa on home territory.

Jean-Frederic Chapuis will also be one to watch. He finished fourth in Sochi and has been Bischofberger's closest rival in the World Cup this season.

He won last month at Idre Fjall and came third in the other race there, while he also finished on the podium in Montafon, Austria, in December.

Having narrowly missed out on a medal four years ago, he'll be hoping to pick one up this time around.
