Super Bowl 52: Eagles vs. Patriots Live Stream, Odds and Prediction Guide
Nick Foles and the Philadelphia Eagles know that the chance of a lifetime is at hand when they line up against the New England Patriots Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
Super Bowl LII is the opportunity for the quarterback, head coach Doug Pederson and the rest of the team to earn the first Vince Lombardi Trophy in team history.
The Eagles have been to the Super Bowl on two other occasions, but they came up on the wrong end both times. They were upset 27-10 by the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XV, and they also lost to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXIX by a 24-21 margin.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Eagles' long-suffering fans have not seen their team win an NFL championship since 1960, when head coach Buck Shaw and quarterback Norm Van Brocklin picked up a 17-13 victory over Lombardi and the Green Bay Packers.
The Eagles were the only team to hand a postseason loss to the legendary Green Bay coach throughout his career.
The Eagles will get their chance at 6:30 p.m. ET when they do battle with the Patriots in Super Bowl LII. The game will be televised by NBC, and the game can be live-streamed by NBCSports.com. New England is a 4.5-point favorite, according to OddsShark, and the total is 48 points.
The problem for the Eagles will come from the Patriots offense that is led by quarterback Tom Brady and a slew of fine offensive weapons.
Brady earned his third Most Valuable Player award during the regular season, and he threw 32 touchdown passes and eight interceptions. He has continued to perform well in the postseason with five touchdown passes while keeping it clean on the interception side of the ledger.
Brady has support from running back Dion Lewis, who ran for 896 yards this season and averaged 5.0 yards per carry. That latter figure is significant, because Lewis is productive enough that the New England ground game must be respected, and opponents can't concentrate solely on the passing game.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski will be the most dangerous weapon on the field, and his ability to outrun linebackers and outmuscle defensive backs gives him a huge advantage. Wideouts Danny Amendola, Chris Hogan and Brandin Cooks should find a way to get open against the Philadelphia defense.
If Philadelphia is going to slow down the New England offense, the Eagles will need to get after Brady with their excellent pass rush. Defensive end Brandon Graham led the fourth-ranked Philadelphia defense with 9.5 sacks in the regular season, and he gets support from Fletcher Cox (5.5 sacks), Chris Long (5.0 sacks) and Derek Barnett (5.0 sacks).
Nick Foles threw for 352 yards and three touchdowns in the NFC title game against the Minnesota Vikings, and he should have an easier time of it against the Patriots. While New England has held 11 of its last 14 opponents to 17 points or less, the Pats ranked 28th in yardage allowed.
Defensive coordinator Matt Patricia's unit showed improvement after a brutal start to the season, but the Pats have vulnerability that Foles, wide receiver Alshon Jeffery and tight end Zach Ertz should be able to exploit.
Prediction
Both teams should be able to move the ball throughout Super Bowl LII, and this game appears to be a high-scoring one.
Brady and the Patriots are known for slow starts and fast finishes in key games, but we see a more even effort this time around. Foles and the Eagles should have the confidence to keep up with the Patriots for the first three quarters of this game.
However, it's not realistic to think that the NFC champions will be better than Brady and the Patriots in the final 15 minutes.
The fourth quarter belongs to New England, and Brady will lead a touchdown drive on his final possession. The Patriots come through with their sixth Super Bowl win and record a 37-30 triumph over the Eagles.
