Super Bowl 52 Prop Odds: Over/Under Betting Lines for National Anthem, Coin Toss
The last three national anthems before the Super Bowl have all lasted more than two minutes, and sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark believe this year's singer Pink will make it four in a row when she takes the stage at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on February 4.
The over/under line for the Super Bowl 52 national anthem is listed at 2:00, with the over sitting as a -150 favorite (bet $150 to win $100) on those betting lines.
Last year, country singer Luke Bryan became the latest to top the two-minute mark, finishing the national anthem up in 2:04. In each of the two years prior to that, Lady Gaga (2:09) and Idina Menzel (2:04) each hit that time too. Pink's tendency to stretch notes and her pop/R&B style would seem to put her more in line with Gaga and Menzel.

Since Pink is a native of Philadelphia, there is also a prop posted regarding whether or not she will say the word "Eagles" before, during or after singing the national anthem. "No" is the -150 favorite while a bet on "Yes" is worth +110 (bet $100 to win $110).
If you think she will wear an Eagles shirt or hat while singing the national anthem, you can get +200 or lay the price of -300 that she will not show her fandom publicly at that time.
Another popular prop bet on the Super Bowl before kickoff involves the coin toss. Following the first 51 Super Bowls, tails has a slight 27-24 advantage, hitting 53 percent of the time after landing that way prior to the past four games.
The odds are dead even on all of the coin toss results at -105 each way for head or tails, Eagles or New England Patriots winning the toss and whether or not the team choosing the side will be correct.
Winning the coin toss has not translated to the winning team recently either. The previous three winners of the coin toss all went on to lose the game, with the Patriots, the Super Bowl 52 betting favorite, spoiling it for two of them. The Seattle Seahawks are the last team to win both.
