Neil Walker Placed on 10-Day DL with Hamstring Injury
Neil Walker is the latest member of the New York Mets to go on the disabled list.
According to Marc Carig of Newsday, the team placed the second baseman on the 10-day DL on Thursday after an MRI revealed a partial tear in his left hamstring. He is "expected to miss several weeks."
He was removed from Wednesday's game after suffering the injury trying to beat out a bunt.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
The Mets are already trying to compete without Noah Syndergaard, David Wright, Asdrubal Cabrera and others, while Yoenis Cespedes and Michael Conforto are also less than 100 percent.
Walker is batting .270 with nine home runs, and the Mets' Twitter account was celebrating his recent run Wednesday before the latest injury:
The 31-year-old played just 113 games last year, while he's topped 140 contests in just two of his seven full seasons in the majors.
Gavin Cecchini will replace him on the roster and should get significant playing time at second base. The 23-year-old went 2-for-6 with two doubles in his limited exposure to the majors last season. Of course, Mets fans will likely be disappointed to not see middle infielder Amed Rosario, who is rated the No. 3 prospect in baseball by MLB.com.
