Lana Asks Shane McMahon to Be Added to Women's WWE Money in the Bank Match
After being shut out of the bout, Lana made a plea to SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon to be included in the Money in the Bank ladder match at the pay-per-view of the same name June 18.
So far, Charlotte Flair, Tamina, Becky Lynch, Natalya and Carmella are the five participants who will wrestle to earn an opportunity to challenge for the SmackDown Women's Championship.

Lana's desire to be in the match is understandable. As the first-ever women's Money in the Bank match, it will be part of WWE history forever.
However, the Ravishing Russian hasn't done anything in the ring to warrant being in a position to win a title shot. While she has worked at NXT events and WWE house shows, Lana's last in-ring appearance on WWE programming came at WrestleMania 32 in a 10-woman tag match.
WWE appears to be shifting her more toward an active wrestling role, airing a series of vignettes on SmackDown Live in recent weeks:
McMahon could potentially have Lana wrestle on SmackDown Live to earn her place in the Money in the Bank match.
By going that route, McMahon wouldn't simply be handing her a coveted PPV spot for little to no reason beyond the fact she wanted it. In addition, Lana would be able to show off any improvement she has made inside the ring, thus making her a more credible threat to scale the ladder and grab the MITB briefcase in June despite being matched up with more experienced competitors.
