Burnley later doubled that number with a win over Crystal Palace.
As shared by former England international Gary Lineker, there were few highlights to choose from:

Recap
Sunderland were desperate for a result at home against the Cherries, but only the in-form King managed to find the net, sealing the Black Cats' fate.
Per Alex Richards of the Daily Mirror, the forward has enjoyed a fine season:
Sunderland's bid to stay in the Premier League seemed doomed long ago, as manager David Moyes couldn't right the ship. Mathematical certainty of the drop was only a matter of time, and the club must now turn its attention to next year's campaign.
Newcastle United showed it's possible to return to the top division in a hurry, but the Magpies needed a lot of turnover during the summer to make the past season a success. Sportswriter Callum Fox doesn't like their chances:
"Feel sorry for Sunderland fans, including a lot of people I know. A miserable season, mismanaged at every level. Hard to see a return to PL.

Leicester also grabbed a win on Saturday, with Vardy scoring his third goal in his last four outings across all competitions. The England international struggled through the first half of the season, but since the sacking of former manager Claudio Ranieri, he has rediscovered his shooting boots.
It's too late for the Foxes to make a run at a European ticket, but the positive momentum of the past few weeks should hand the side a boost heading into next season.
The results from Saturday's matches also means Everton will officially compete in Europe next season, as West Bromwich Albion can no longer pass them in the standings.
