Arsenal kept alive their hopes of a top-four Premier League finish after defeating Middlesbrough 2-1 on Monday evening, as Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil provided the goals for the north London visitors.

Sanchez fired the Gunners into the lead just before half-time, and Alvaro Negredo's equaliser soon after the restart ensured tensions were high for the guests before Aaron Ramsey set up Ozil for a simple winner.

The Premier League title race was gifted a new lease of life on Sunday thanks to Manchester United's confident 2-0 victory over leader Chelsea, handing second-placed Tottenham Hotspur new hope of a late shot at the crown.

United Test Burnley's Turf Moor Might

A home win over Chelsea has given breathed fresh life into United's Premier League campaign, but a treacherous trip to Turf Moor this Saturday risks unsettling any good work performed at Old Trafford.

The Clarets have kept six clean sheets and conceded just 14 goals at home this season—the fifth-lowest total of any Premier League side—and Simon Gleave of Gracenote Sports noted their only away point against teams above them came at Old Trafford:

The Red Devils have been disappointed to draw nine of their 17 home league games this season, but the UEFA Europa League highlighted the sterling run of form manager Jose Mourinho's side are currently enjoying:

United play host to Anderlecht in the home leg of their Europa League quarter-final on Thursday and will hope no new injury concerns emerge before they make the short trip north to Turf Moor.

With a game in hand over fourth-placed rivals Manchester City and only four points separating the two, fifth-placed United can inject some energy into their top-four dream with a win at Burnley as their season goes from strength to strength.

Crystal Palace centre-back Mamadou Sakho won't be available for manager Sam Allardyce when his side travel to Anfield on Sunday, and the Frenchman's absence could hand his parent club a distinct advantage in the clash.

The Eagles have mustered four clean sheets since Sakho debuted in February as a loanee from Liverpool compared to just two this season before that point. His presence looks to have added some much-needed sheen to the back line, per BT Sport Score:

But the Reds have embarked upon a fine run of their own since showing some signs of strain around January, and there's reason for Liverpool fans to be hopeful of where they're headed under manager Jurgen Klopp, per Match of the Day:

The Merseysiders are on a seven-match unbeaten streak after beating West Bromwich Albion 1-0 on Sunday, and Klopp's side has emerged victorious in each of their last two trips to Selhurst Park.

A win at Palace on Sunday would be enough to keep Liverpool in third despite having played a game more than most of their peers, with every point from now until the end of the campaign vital to their top-four chances.
