Tottenham Hotspur temporarily pulled within four points of Premier League leaders Chelsea after pummelling Bournemouth 4-0 at White Hart Lane on Saturday, where fit-again Harry Kane was back in the goals.
The England striker netted his first Spurs goal in more than a month as Mousa Dembele, Heung-Min Son and Vincent Janssen also scored to move the north Londoners within touching distance of the Blues.
Manchester City moved up to third in the standings after bulldozing Southampton 3-0 at St. Mary's Stadium in the evening kick-off thanks to second-half goals from Vincent Kompany, Leroy Sane and Sergio Aguero:

Chelsea will have their chance to reclaim a cushion at the summit when they face Manchester United on Sunday, although a trip to Old Trafford by no means guarantees three points for manager Antonio Conte's side.
Saturday's Week 33 schedule also saw defending champions Leicester City draw 2-2 at Crystal Palace, while Everton and Stoke City each secured 3-1 wins over Burnley and Hull City, respectively. Elsewhere, Sunderland drew 2-2 at home to 10-man West Ham United, and Watford edged Swansea City 1-0 at Vicarage Road.

Recap
Clean sheets were at a premium in the Premier League on Saturday, but Tottenham secured one with a convincing display on home turf as Bournemouth were turned out of north London following a 4-0 demolition.
However, the biggest storyline of the fixture came in attack as Kane notched his 20th of the season to put Tottenham 3-0 ahead and join an exclusive club of prolific Premier League scorers, per OptaJoe:
Dembele powered in Spurs' first from a corner the Cherries felt shouldn't have been given, while Son kept up his fine scoring form with his eighth in six matches and Janssen netted his second Premier League goal late on.
As well as pulling Spurs closer to Chelsea, Saturday's win also saw Tottenham tie level with Liverpool as this season's highest Premier League scorers (68 goals), and manager Mauricio Pochettino was unsurprisingly impressed with the display:
City captain Kompany scored his first goal for the club in 20 months at St. Mary's, powering home a crucial header to nudge his side ahead after 55 minutes, at which point the floodgates opened for manager Pep Guardiola's men.
Kevin De Bruyne teed up Sane for a smartly executed counter-attack goal 20 minutes later, and Kristof Terreur of Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws hailed the former Chelsea puppeteer after playing a role in Aguero's addition minutes later:
At Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace fired back from a goal down to clinch a 2-2 draw at home to Leicester, where Yohan Cabaye and Christian Benteke struck in the second half to cancel out first-half goals from Robert Huth and Jamie Vardy.
Any relegation worries that emerged prior to manager Craig Shakespeare's arrival at the helm seem long gone with Leicester now nine points above the bottom three, and the boss was humble after missing out on points:
Sam Vokes' penalty at Goodison Park turned out to be just a consolation for Burnley, after Ben Mee's own goal on top of strikes from Phil Jagielka and Romelu Lukaku saw Everton emerge 3-1 victors on Merseyside.
Stoke City defeated Hull by the same margin at the Bet365 Stadium to complete a league double over the Tigers, and it was there that Marko Arnautovic entered the Premier League history books with a show-stopping opener:
The Potters went in at the break leading 1-0, and although Harry Maguire equalised in the 51st minute, Peter Crouch and Xherdan Shaqiri added goals in the second half to clinch Stoke's first win in nearly six weeks.
Fabio Borini played the role of Sunderland super substitute at the Stadium of Light and scored in the 90th minute to rescue a point for the Black Cats after Andre Ayew and James Collins put West Ham ahead on two occasions in the north-east.
Wahbi Khazri impressed in his first league start since October and scored straight from a corner for Sunderland's first, and Sam Byram's 95th-minute sending-off for a second yellow helped steal the hosts a share of the spoils.
Watford took a valuable win over Swansea as Etienne Capoue provided the only finish at Vicarage Road, keeping the Hornets in 10th thanks to a third win in four matches for manager Walter Mazzarri's side.
