IPL Results 2017: Scores, Updated Points Table and Fixture Schedule on April 12
Mumbai Indians sealed back-to-back Indian Premier League wins on Wednesday after they beat defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad by four wickets at Wankhede Stadium.
Jasprit Bumrah enjoyed an impressive bowling performance for the home side and helped restrict the Sunrisers to 158-8 on what's a typically high-scoring ground in the IPL.
Shikhar Dhawan and David Warner were the star performers for Hyderabad, but even their combined run tally of 97 couldn't prevent the Mumbai hosts from hunting down their total with eight balls remaining.
Nitish Rana and Parthiv Patel boosted Mumbai's run total by 45 and 39, respectively, to see the Inidians through to a valuable IPL win that's sure to have registered with many of their peers.

Mumbai Indians vs. Sunrisers Hyderabad
Mumbai Indian, 159 for six (Rana 45, Patel 39, Bhuvneshwar 3-21), beat Sunrisers Hyderabad, 158 for eight (Warner 49, Dhawan 48, Bumrah 3-24) by four wickets.
Dhawan and Warner opened the batting for Hyderabad in the hopes they could mimic previous success at one and two in the order, and it came off to great effect as they laid a strong foundation for the visiting team.
The pair managed only three boundaries between them but managed to assemble almost a century in total as Warner notched 49 off 34 balls and Dhawan contributed another 48. Per Cricbuzz, that display showed their playing partnership continued to operate as strongly as ever:
However, Harbhajan Singh stopped Warner's rampage before he could reach 50 runs, and New Zealand's Mitchell McClenaghan bowled out Dhawan to break up the Sunrisers' most dangerous contingent.
Sri Lankan Lasith Malinga might have grabbed attention as the bowler to watch for Mumbai on Wednesday, but it was Bumrah who stole the headlines by taking three of Hyderabad's remaining six wickets. ESPNCricinfo reporter Bharath Seervi testified to the 23-year-old's leap back to form against this particular foe:
Mumbai's chase attempt was dealt a blow when Jos Buttler was restricted to just 14 runs before being bowled out by Ashish Nehra. Fellow opener Patel fared better and added 39 to Mumbai's tally—including three successive boundaries—before Bhuvneshwar Kumar caught to send him packing shortly after Rohit Sharma's leg before wicket (LBW).
It was then that No. 4 batter Rana rose to the fore for Mumbai and held a firm line, finishing his afternoon with a respectable 45 and in the process advanced his hopes of staking a claim as this season's leading run-scorer:
Krunal Pandya also entered the fray as the sixth batsman and collected 37 runs off just 20 balls in what might have been the most crucial contribution for Mumbai as they saw off the remainder of the chase with not many overs to spare.
Bumrah was voted man of the match for his bowling performance, per ESPNCricinfo, and he voiced his pleasure after tactics came off with aplomb on Wednesday:
"It was a fixed plan and it worked today. Usually, when you have too many variations, you try and stick to one or two of them because if you try too much, you go for runs. It is always very beneficial when he (Lasith Malinga)is around, so I always keep asking him what I have to do and what needs to be done. Nowadays, we have to practice with the wet ball, with the dew going around in this ground, it is difficult."
Hyderabad next travel to face Kolkata Knight Riders on their own soil this Saturday, while Mumbai have only two days' rest before they take on Royal Challengers Bangalore at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
