Both Madrid teams are in action in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals on Wednesday, with holders Real in Germany to face Bayern Munich in the first leg, while Atletico will host Premier League champions Leicester City at the Vicente Calderon Stadium.
Yet while Atleti are firm favourites to beat Leicester, the odds say Los Blancos will lose in Munich.
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund will play their rearranged first-leg fixture against Ligue 1 side AS Monaco, which was rescheduled for Wednesday after an explosion occurred near the home team bus in Germany, per BBC Sport.

Preview
It's little wonder even a squad as talented as Real's would be betting underdogs for a trip to Bayern's Allianz Arena. After all, the Bundesliga leaders are loaded with quality in every area.
Bayern are also guided by a manager Los Merengues know well, Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian has won this tournament three times as a manager, with his last triumph coming with Real in 2014, earning the club the previously elusive La Decima, their 10th European title.

Now Ancelotti has Bayern equipped to win Europe's top club tournament. One reason Munich have to be fancied is the prolific form of marquee centre-forward Robert Lewandowski.
Polish attacker Lewandowski has netted 38 goals in all competitions this season, per WhoScored.com, including seven in the Champions League. Therefore odds of 3-1, per Oddschecker, make Lewandowski a strong bet to open the scoring in Germany.
Of course, Los Blancos boast plenty of firepower of their own, particularly across their famed front three of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale. Ronaldo is a healthy 6-1 to be first goalscorer, while Benzema and Bale each figure at 9-1, per Oddschecker.
Expect goals in the first leg, but count on Bayern, humbled by Ancelotti's Real three years ago, to exact a measure of revenge for 2014's semi-final defeat.
Atletico and Leicester both know how to stay compact and punish opponents on the break. It's how Craig Shakespeare has turned around City's form since replacing Claudio Ranieri as manager.
Yet for all Leicester's improvement, Atleti are old hands in the Champions League, having reached two of the last three finals. The team from the Spanish capital still boast a mean defence, but they doesn't always get credit for their guile and skill in attack.
In particular, wide forward Antoine Griezmann is a great bet to score in the first leg. The most intelligent mover in the game is fancied at 31-10 to be the first goalscorer on Wednesday.
However, odds of 6-4 are healthy for both teams to score in Madrid. It's a reflection of the threat the quick-countering Foxes pose in away matches thanks to striker Jamie Vardy and winger Riyad Mahrez.
There's ample firepower on both sides of the Dortmund and Monaco clash. Strikers and forwards such as Dortmund pair Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Marco Reus, as well as Monaco duo Radamel Falcao and Kylian Mbappe can prove decisive for two teams that have scored goals for fun this season.
It's why backing both teams to score offers odds of just 1-2, per Oddschecker. Considering these two shared nine goals in the last round, backing a score draw would make sense.
In the other games, Atleti have the know-how and resources to score in both legs and end Leicester's maiden season in the Champions League, while Ancelotti's nous should prove decisive in helping see Bayern through against Los Blancos.
