Diego Maradona Tells Konami to 'Eat a Millionaire Judgment' over PES 2017 Image
Diego Maradona has told Konami they will "eat a millionaire judgment" as he continued his spat with the Japanese video game developer over their use of his likeness in Pro Evolution Soccer 2017.
The Argentina legend had previously threatened to sue the company for including him in the "Legends" section of PES 2017, as the most highly rated player in the game, without his permission, per Luke Plunkett of Kotaku.
Konami have since claimed they were given the rights to his image by Barcelona—one of Maradona's former clubs—and the 56-year-old has hit back again in a Facebook post (h/t Marca):

"Now Konami have said publicly that Barcelona gave them the rights to use my image! How can the Argentina national team be manipulated for use through Barcelona?
Konami certainly can't do this. I'm 56 years of age. They can't cheat me anymore. Konami, I'll tell you: you're going to eat a millionaire judgment [be sued], and all the money I get from you I'm going to give to charity and there they will be able to play a fair game.
"
Konami announced a three-year partnership with Barcelona in 2016 that allows them "extensive access to the club's stars."
Per Marca, this seems to be the defence for using Maradona's likeness on PES 2017 without his explicit permission.
However, the former Boca Juniors and Napoli star is clearly unhappy with that explanation and seems intent on taking the issue further.
