With WrestleMania 33 in the rearview mirror, WWE's Raw brand turns its attention to Payback, its next major pay-per-view presentation on April 30.
Emanating from the SAP Center in San Jose, California, the event will feature the fallout from The Showcase of the Immortals and the top stars the brand has to offer.
Which results from the mammoth WrestleMania 33 will have the greatest impact on the Payback card and why?

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Let's take a look.
Kevin Owens defeated Chris Jericho for the United States Championship
When Kevin Owens defeated Chris Jericho to win the United States Championship at WrestleMania 33, he likely imagined he had exorcised the Y2J demon from his closet once and for all.
Not so fast.
Jericho will challenge Owens for the aforementioned championship at Payback in a match that will likely have a more prominent role than it did in Orlando.
Rightfully so.
Despite Jericho and Owens delivering a very solid match at WrestleMania, their contest never lived up to the hype and anticipation that surrounded their rivalry. It lacked intensity and felt more like a match fans could expect to see on a weekly episode of Raw rather than the most significant show of the year.
They will have the opportunity to improve upon that first match, with more time and energy invested in it.
The big question at this point is whether or not management inserts a stipulation of any kind.
The feud is intense enough to support a No Holds Barred stipulation, and Owens is certainly at his best when he can use his creativity in a brawling atmosphere. Considering the two have already done the basic singles match, it most definitely feels as though the contest needs a spark to carry it into another pay-per-view extravaganza.
Seth Rollins defeated Triple H in an Unsanctioned Match
After being embarrassed at WrestleMania and watching his wife crash through a table, Triple H will be seeking vengeance against the man who defeated him, Seth Rollins.
Probably not at his own hand, though.
The outcome of that epic encounter will likely be the emphasis for The Game reaching out to his Right Hand of Destruction, Samoa Joe, to batter and incapacitate Rollins.
How can Triple H adversely affect Rollins' spot on Raw, and keep him from building momentum for himself, without himself coming back into the mix and taking matters into his own hands?
Whether Joe is capable of doing what The King of Kings was unable is the big question. He has cooled significantly, abandoning the relationship with Triple H and assuming the role of Kevin Owens' friend and tag team partner.
Can he effectively defend the honor of The Game and destroy Rollins or will he fail as miserably as The Cerebral Assassin?
Either way, it seems a given that The Architect and The Samoan Submission Machine will clash in one of marquee bouts of the card.
All because Rollins one-upped Triple H on the grand stage, two months after Joe injured Rollins' knee and put him at an obvious disadvantage.
AJ Styles defeated Shane McMahon
AJ Styles' victory over Shane McMahon and the announcement by Vince McMahon of a talent reshuffle could spell the end of Styles' time on SmackDown.
Cageside Seats reports management very much wants The Phenomenal One on Raw. What better way to achieve that than by citing Styles' victory over the prodigal son, and any arrogance and bravado that comes from it, as the reason for sending him to Monday nights?
While it did not have a tremendous impact on the WrestleMania broadcast itself, the match should have long-reaching effects come the April 10 episode of Raw.
If Styles does make the move, he suddenly becomes one of the franchise stars of Raw and figures to play an enormous role in the Payback pay-per-view. Exactly what that role would be remains to be seen, but a showdown with Finn Balor would not be out of the question.
