The month or so after WrestleMania is always an exciting and rewarding time to be a fan of World Wrestling Entertainment.
From thrilling new Superstars arriving on the scene to intriguing new rivalries, those few weeks are as much a gift to the WWE Universe as anything that goes down at The Showcase of the Immortals.
This week, just days after the monumental WrestleMania 33 on Sunday, rumors are running rampant about roster reshuffles, NXT call-ups, new talent to replace those Superstars in the developmental brand and Rob Gronkowski.

Shinsuke Nakamura to SmackDown Live
The Revival's Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder made their Raw debuts on Monday night's Raw and if reports from Cageside Seats are accurate, they will not be the only former NXT champions to make an impact on main roster programming this week.
Shinsuke Nakamura, the former NXT champion and face of that brand, is expected to debut on SmackDown Live Tuesday night.
That would be a major coup for the blue brand. Known worldwide as The King of Strong Style, Nakamura is a bona fide star. He is recognized globally for his work in New Japan Pro Wrestling and has spent the last year carrying NXT on his back as its franchise star.
While his promo ability may be suspect due to a language barrier, Nakamura's natural charisma more than makes up for it. His in-ring abilities have been somewhat dumbed down for NXT, but on the main roster, working against opponents such as AJ Styles, John Cena, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt, he will have the opportunity to unleash his best stuff on an audience eager to see him thrive against the best the industry has to offer.
That is most likely a welcome opportunity for him and a very good thing for fans.
Whereas he would be lost in the shuffle on Raw, SmackDown Live offers Nakamura the opportunity to be a big fish in a smaller pond.
A Phenomenal Return to Raw
Vince McMahon's Monday announcement of a roster shakeup has fans guessing which of their favorites could end up on a different brand come April 10.
Cageside Seats reported that the Chairman of the Board is determined to get AJ Styles off SmackDown Live and onto Raw.
Without fair compensation, that could be a tremendous loss for the blue brand. Styles has been its face, its franchise star. He has been the guy who has carried the brand on his back from the moment he was drafted to the Tuesday night show last July.
The best wrestler in the world, Styles has been the type of performer WWE management can rely on to drum up interest in what is still clearly the company's B-show.
Taking him away would be majorly detrimental to the show.
That is unless he was exchanged for someone of similar value, say a Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins.
Only then would it be a roster move worth making.
Details on Drew McIntyre's Return
Fans of NXT were stunned last Saturday when Drew McIntyre was spotted sitting front row at TakeOver: Orlando. Like Bobby Roode a year earlier, the presence of the former intercontinental champion at ringside seemed to suggest the Scotsman had re-signed with the company.
That is exactly what happened.
Cageside Seats reported McIntyre's deal with the company came about very last minute. The report continues, saying the decision to have him appear on camera was also made very late, proving just how fluid things are in a major wrestling promotion.
The site stated McIntyre's deal is, at least in part, meant to adversely affect competition in the United Kingdom. The Superstar formerly referred to as Vince McMahon's Chosen One will play a key role in WWE's plans for its own UK-based programming.
That he was so visible at an NXT event would seem to suggest he will also help replace some of the departing talents in the coming weeks and months.
Did The Patriots Know About Gronk's WrestleMania Appearance?
Given Rob Gronkowski's injury history on the gridiron, it is understandable that the New England Patriots would want to know if he was planning on setting foot in a WWE ring and doing anything even remotely physical.
Thanks to Cageside Seats, we know the Super Bowl LI champions knew about their star tight end's appearance at The Showcase of the Immortals.
Given the fact that Gronk's presence and mainstream appeal led to Mojo Rawley winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at the expense of Sami Zayn, Braun Strowman, Big Show and Dolph Ziggler, it is a shame owner Robert Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick did not put up more of a fight against his involvement.
