Germany vs. England: Date, Time, Live Stream and TV Schedule for 2017 Friendly
Germany and England will renew their rivalry in an international friendly on Wednesday, the final match of Lucas Podolski's impressive international career.
The German national association confirmed the news via their official website, as the forward will not feature in the World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan.
Manager Joachim Low is satisfied the goodbye can take place at Signal Iduna Park: "It's great that Lukas will say goodbye in such a wonderful way. It's a worthy farewell, and one that he deserves. Matches against England are always real classics, on top of that in front of the fantastic fans in Dortmund. I assume that there will be a really fantastic atmosphere."

Both teams enter the international break with one or two key absentees due to injury. Manuel Neuer is absent for Germany, and Michail Antonio has withdrawn from the England squad. Harry Kane wasn't called up due to injury.
The visitors' team includes a number of fresh faces, including James Ward-Prowse, Michael Keane and Nathan Redmond, who are all in line for their first caps.

Ward-Prowse wants to use his time with the national team as a learning experience, per BBC Sport's Emlyn Begley: "I can't wait to draw every ounce of knowledge from the other players. It's positive that if you're doing well as a young player, you'll get a chance. Obviously we want to be the best team in the world."
Timo Werner has been rewarded for his fine season with RB Leipzig, joining Die Mannschaft's stacked attack. Also present are the likes of Podolski, Thomas Muller and Andre Schurrle.

The group should provide a stiff test for England's defence, which remains a weak point. John Stones, Chris Smalling and Gary Cahill have all had their share of blunders this season, and the world champions will likely punish every single mistake.
On the other side of the pitch, veteran forward Jermain Defoe will try to make the most of every chance he gets, and Jamie Vardy will have to prove he's still of sufficient quality to play a major role in international football.
