Manchester United Fined for Failure to Control Players in FA Cup vs Chelsea
Manchester United have been fined £20,000 by the Football Association after admitting a misconduct charge when the Red Devils were eliminated from the FA Cup against Chelsea.
According to the FA's official website, the club was charged for "failing to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion in or around the 35th minute of their Emirates FA Cup quarter-final against Chelsea on Monday, 13 March 2017."
The quarter-final match saw United lose Ander Herrera to a red card before half-time, as the holders were eliminated from the competition in a 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.

The FA said the club had breached FA Rule E20(a), and United did not contest the charge.
Hererra was given a second yellow after a foul on Eden Hazard, triggering the Red Devils contingent to surround referee Michael Oliver in protest.
The game was fraught with incident as Hazard was marked tightly by the visitors, but Herrera was given his marching orders seconds after Phil Jones had avoided a caution for fouling the Belgian star.
