Recap
As confirmed by the official Twitter account of the UEFA Champions League, four clubs are already assured of a spot in the next round:
All four struggled on Tuesday, however, and three needed last-minute goals to grab their wins. In Madrid, it was Antoine Griezmann who emerged as the hero, giving his side the lead in the first half and scoring a late winner after Sardar Azmoun had tied things up.
As shared by ESPN FC's Dermot Corrigan, there was some controversy surrounding the goal, as the FC Rostov players were none too pleased when the official overruled his linesman on an offside call:
In Bulgaria, Mesut Ozil scored a stunning goal to seal a late 3-2 win over Ludogorets for Arsenal. The Gunners fell behind 2-0 early, but Granit Xhaka and Olivier Giroud restored order before half-time, setting the stage for the Germany international.
The former Real Madrid man beat the offside trap and lifted the ball over goalkeeper Milan Borjan before faking out two defenders and slotting home into the open goal.

It was a fantastic goal but not even the most spectacular late winner in Group A. That honour went to Thomas Meunier, who powered home a ridiculous volley to hand PSG three points against FC Basel.
Per ESPN FC's Jonathan Johnson, manager Unai Emery owes his right-back some thanks:
Over in the Netherlands, PSV Eindhoven took the lead against Bayern through Santiago Arias, but a brace from Robert Lewandowski earned the Bavarians the win and a spot in the knockout stages.
Tuesday's most anticipated clash was the rematch between City and Barcelona, and this time, the Citizens grabbed the win. Lionel Messi gave the visitors the lead, but powered by Kevin De Bruyne, the Citizens fought back and convincingly beat the Catalans.
Ilkay Gundogan stood out with another brace, his second in two matches, but it was the Belgian who soaked up the headlines with his great play and superb free-kick goal. Jack Pitt-Brooke of the Independent thought Tuesday's match made it clear just how much he means to the team:
With Celtic holding Borussia Monchengladbach to a draw, the Citizens now lead the Germans by three points and have one foot in the next round.
Napoli only managed a draw at Besiktas, and manager Maurizio Sarri told Mediaset Premium (h/t Football Italia) his team's inability to finish chances is an issue:
"We need to concentrate on the performances more than the results right now, as after a difficult period we played two good games against Juventus and Besiktas.
It leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, because we were in control, but unfortunately at the moment we are not turning our many chances into goals.
"
Benfica's win over Dynamo Kyiv means the top three teams in Group B are separated by just a single point, leaving everything to play for with two matches left.
