Liverpool Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Alexander Isak and Lorenzo Insigne
Liverpool are reportedly chasing AIK Gothenburg starlet Alexander Isak, who has been dubbed the "next Zlatan Ibrahimovic."
That's according to Swedish newspaper Expressen, which states that Jurgen Klopp and Co. have joined a long list of suitors for the 17-year-old (via Aaron Flanagan of the Daily Mirror).
Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and a whole host of other top European sides are said to be tracking Isak's progress, and it's safe to say they should be impressed with what they've seen.

Isak has scored nine goals in the Swedish top flight so far this season, per WhoScored.com, but there's more to his game than finding the back of the net.
The way Isak runs the channels and creates space for others is a breath of fresh air. He is crafted from the same mould as the likes of Divock Origi yet is four years his junior.
Here's a look at what Isak could bring to the table at Anfield:
His direct, skilful style of play makes it little wonder so many big clubs are interested in landing his signature, and Gothenburg have all but accepted the fact that he'll be leaving the club sooner rather than later.
Per Flanagan, AIK sporting director Bjorn Wesstrom said: "Now that he has made the breakthrough, Alexander will leave for a big transfer fee. Now or in the next transfer window he will be sold."
Liverpool will be hoping to give Isak the most appealing offer in January, yet first-team football is far from guaranteed at Anfield.
Whichever big club brings him in could well loan him back to Gothenburg or elsewhere for the remainder of the campaign.
In other news, Liverpool have been put on red alert as to the availability of Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne.

Italian outlet Calciomercato reports that Insigne has fallen out with the Napoli powers-that-be over the terms of his contract and could be open to a move elsewhere, via Flanagan.
Insigne has reportedly asked for around £100,000 per week to continue wearing the blue shirt, yet club owner Aurelio De Laurentiis is reluctant to accept his demands.
However, the Italy international's price tag of £44 million could well be a step too far for the Reds.
It's an exciting time to be a Liverpool fan. Klopp is slowly but surely building a squad worthy of his managerial brilliance, and performances have been excellent so far this term.
The January transfer window will be key to the Reds' success—if Klopp is able to plug the last few remaining holes in his roster, he'll be able to mount a serious title charge.
