Real Madrid Transfer News: Javier Hernandez Return, Gianluigi Donnarumma Rumours
Real Madrid director Santiago Aguado has said he would welcome a potential return to the Santiago Bernabeu for Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez.
The Mexico international has flourished in Germany since moving to Bayer from Manchester United in 2015, netting 22 Bundesliga goals in 34 appearances, per WhoScored.com.
In 2014-15, the season before he left Old Trafford permanently, Hernandez spent a term on loan with Real, and Aguado revealed he would like to see the 28-year-old back in Madrid, per Fox Sports (via Goal's Stephen Darwin): "Yes, I'd like to see Chicharito back at Real Madrid as we feel that he is an excellent player."

Hernandez is a born finisher and has scored goals regularly throughout his entire career, even when he was only played from the bench during periods at United.
In his season at Real, he netted seven goals in 859 minutes of La Liga action, per WhoScored.
Since moving to Leverkusen and starting regularly, he has flourished into one of the most dangerous strikers in Europe, per BT Sport Football:

If he returned to Real, he would provide excellent competition and cover for Karim Benzema, manager Zinedine Zidane's current No. 1 striker.
Playing alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, the Chicharito of recent seasons could be devastating in La Liga, while he also has ample experience of the UEFA Champions League and would not be out of place at Real.
Leverkusen signed Hernandez for just £7.3 million, and his current contract with the German side runs until 2018.
Given how successful he has been for Bayer, they would likely demand a significantly higher fee to let him go, and it was recently reported that his release clause is set at £40 million, per AS (via the Sun's Anthony Chapman).

Elsewhere, Real are reportedly still interested in signing AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, but the Serie A giants are trying to tie him to a new contract to ward off suitors, per Mundo Deportivo (via TuttoMercatoWeb's Marco Frattino).
Football writer Simon Collings provided reported details about what Milan have put on the table:
At just 17 years old, Donnarumma has already established himself as Milan's No. 1 stopper, having played every minute of their 2016-17 Serie A campaign so far and earned 30 league starts last term, per WhoScored.
Real already have a top-class No. 1 in Keylor Navas, while Kiko Casilla proved effective early in the season as he stood in for the injured Costa Rican.
Donnarumma has shown glimpses, though, that he could be one of the world's best in the future, and Zidane is clearly planning for the long term.
As Italian Donnarumma came through the Rossoneri's youth system, Real may struggle to prise him away, especially given the first-team action he is being afforded in Milan.
But Los Blancos will no doubt keep track of his progress, and it would be little surprise if he ends up at the Bernabeu in the near future.
