Liverpool vs. Manchester United: Team News, Preview, Live-Stream, TV Info
Former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal won all four Premier League games he took charge of against Liverpool before Jose Mourinho replaced him in the summer.
The Portuguese will hope to continue that record on Monday when he takes his side to Anfield for the first 2016-17 clash between United and their bitter rivals from Merseyside.
The Red Devils will be taking on an inspired Liverpool side that has won its last four Premier League games under manager Jurgen Klopp.

Team News
In a boost for United, Mourinho revealed on Friday that Luke Shaw and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have recovered from their injuries in time for the trip to Anfield, with long-term absentee Phil Jones likely to be the only player unavailable, per the Manchester Evening News' Rob Dawson:
Conversely, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp revealed in his pre-match press conference that both Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum are in a race against time to be fit for Monday's clash, per the Express' Paul Joyce:
Should Wijnaldum and Lallana be unavailable, Klopp would have to make significant changes to his midfield, as both have started all seven of Liverpool's Premier League games so far in 2016-17 alongside captain Jordan Henderson.
Per James Pearce in the Liverpool Echo, Wijnaldum picked up a knock while on international duty with the Netherlands and Emre Can is likely to step in to replace him if he cannot turn out against the Red Devils.
Predicted Liverpool Lineup: Simon Mignolet; Nathaniel Clyne, Joel Matip, Dejan Lovren, James Milner; Jordan Henderson, Emre Can, Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino; Daniel Sturridge.
Predicted Manchester United Lineup: David De Gea; Antonio Valencia, Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling, Daley Blind; Ander Herrera, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford; Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Preview

United must learn from their last outing in the English top flight if they are to prevail against Liverpool.
Before the international break, Mourinho's side could only earn a 1-1 home draw against Stoke City despite numerous golden chances falling to the likes of Pogba, Ibrahimovic and Lingard.
If they display similar profligacy against Liverpool, United would be lucky to escape Anfield with a point.
Klopp's Liverpool can be irresistible going forward, with Firmino, Coutinho and Mane all having made big contributions, as the Reds have netted 18 goals in seven matches so far this league campaign—United have scored five fewer.
The Merseysiders are vulnerable at the back, though, and have yet to keep a clean sheet in the top flight in 2016-17, conceding 10 goals.
Goals are almost guaranteed from both sides on Monday, especially given the attacking quality on show.
Beside the likes of Ibrahimovic, Mata and Rashford, United have a Pogba, who has yet to quite hit his stride in the Premier League but will surely relish the idea of announcing himself with a bravura performance in such a big game.
He warmed up in positive fashion with an excellent goalscoring display for France against the Netherlands during the international break, per Liverpool legend and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher:
A marauding Pogba could wreak havoc against the Liverpool defence.
Conversely, an ill-disciplined positional display from the Frenchman—as he was accused of putting in against Manchester City earlier in the season—and Liverpool's attacking players could have the room they need to give their side the edge.
There is little to choose between Liverpool and United, and as is so often the case in derby games, whichever side handles the pressure best and executes its game plan most effectively is likely to prevail.
An early goal could set the tone for the match. If United get on the board early, Mourinho will likely lock the game down and look to earn a 1-0 win.
Should Liverpool claim the opener, United would be forced to play more expansively, and that could open the game up to entertaining effect.
Whatever happens, drama is all but guaranteed in one of football's most hotly anticipated fixtures.
