The Sickest Shoes in the Bleacher Report Office
Since sneakers are pretty much a way of life around these parts, we wanted to share the sickest shoes worn in the Bleacher Report offices.
Between locations in bustling New York City and San Francisco, there's enough heat going around to fill out 50 slideshows on a weekly basis. For our inaugural list, we narrowed it down to eight choices.
Channeling the best of what Bleacher Report has to offer, let's now check out which sneakers made the final cut.
Rollin Herold: Air Jordan XII 'Wings'
1 of 8
We can politic back and forth over what the best Air Jordan XII release has been in recent years. In a qualitative capacity, the "Wings" edition takes the cake.
Bleacher Report's deputy editor, Rollin Herold, put everyone to shame when he broke out a crispy pair of "Wings" in the New York City office. His personal version of the kicks were so clean, we weren't able to see any of the translucent gold material—which accompanies the upper—break through the leather yet.
Just when you think you have the sneaker game on lock, Rollin comes at you with game-changing Air Jordan.
Ben Osborne: Air Jordan I 'Shattered Backboard'
2 of 8
It's no surprise Bleacher Report editor-in-chief Ben Osborne has one of the best sneaker collections in the office. Between a sweeping Air Jordan lineup and a rotation of uber-popular Adidas silhouettes, he constantly breaks out scorching footwear choices.
One of Ben's best selections in recent weeks was the Air Jordan I "Shattered Backboard." This modern-day classic was a timely choice, especially considering Nike just released the "Reverse Shattered Backboard" on Oct. 8.
Between premium, robust strands of leather and a Halloween colorway, this sneaker has become a staple of high-end fall fashion.
Giancarlo Ferrari-King: NIKEiD Air Force One 'Back to the Future'
3 of 8
For those who haven't tried it out, NIKEiD remains a hotbed for creativity. Rather than purchase a pair of kicks, you can spend the same amount of loot and build your own from scratch.
Using the Air Force One as a base, I turned my dreams of starring in Back to the Future into a custom shoe. The "Back to the Future" Air Force One resembles the self-lacing Nike Air Mag in terms of colors and look.
Rummaging around NIKEiD, the addition of a translucent sole, grey leather upper and white Swoosh completed this personal tribute to Marty McFly.
Tim Quizon: Kobe 8 'Christmas'
4 of 8
When the Kobe 8's released in 2012, one thing you could hang your hat on was the advanced traction system. An intricate herringbone pattern, dosed onto the sole, became a staple of Bryant's signature sneakers moving forward.
Bleacher Report's Tim Quizon, a Kobe collector, broke out a special holiday pair of the Kobe 8s. The "Christmas" edition floated into rarified air, becoming a tough cop for consumers.
Thanks to a holiday-inspired pattern weaved into the canvas of the shoe, this sneaker managed to become a classic. Keeping them in pristine condition, Quizon reminded everyone how dope of a sneaker the Kobe 8 truly was.
Lance Fresh: Yeezy 750 Boost 'Glow in the Dark'
5 of 8Lance Fresh is a tough act to follow when it comes to the Bleacher Report sneaker community. The NBA style guru boasts a serious collection—one that continually warrants attention.
Recently, he was seen stunting in a pair of Yeezy Boost 750s. The specific version he was rocking was the "Glow in the Dark" cut, originally released in June 2016.
In typical Lance fashion, the hype didn't stop there. He also was carrying around a pair of the Yeezy Boost 750 "Chocolates," giving everyone else in the office a chance to collectively pick their jaws up off the floor.
Ben Osborne: Adidas NMD
6 of 8
Ben returns to our list thanks to the ultra-comfy Adidas NMD. Presented in the original colorway, this sneaker has helped keep Adidas' market dominance alive—the hype alone has turned virtually every NMD into an instant seller.
The OG colorway remains a must-own sneaker. It's simple yet resoundingly effective. Between a mesh black overlay, a white Boost sole and the use of red-and-blue color blocks, it goes with anything.
Ben made sure to flex on everyone by bringing this rare NMD into the New York office.
Nick Yokoyama: Air Jordan XI 'Space Jam'
7 of 8
Anytime you see a pair of Air Jordan XI "Space Jams" floating around the office, you're immediately drawn in. With the Bleacher Report crew in San Francisco proving on a daily basis to be Jordan Brand aficionados, it wasn't a surprise to see these kicks broken out.
If there was an office competition and Jordan Brand was on the table, it would be a close call. Between New York and San Francisco, we'd have a serious battle on our hands.
Topping Nick Yokoyama's "Space Jam" XI would be hard to do, so for this round we tip our caps to Nick and everyone else stationed in the Bay Area.
Brian Hough: Roundel x Nike London Underground Air Max 90
8 of 8
Rounding out our list of the sickest sneakers in the Bleacher Report offices brings us to Brian Hough. His decision to bust out an ultra-rare pair of Roundel x Nike London Underground Air Max 90s was a good way to grind office productivity to a halt.
We've gone through a list of traditional and rare releases. Hough's Underground Air Max 90s fit both narratives, taking a classic Nike sneaker and arming it with a pattern worthy of Don Draper's New York City apartment—the design actually is a tribute to London's transportation system.
The result of all this was a marvelous sneaker choice by one of Bleacher Report's biggest sneakerheads. These are going to be hard to top moving forward.
