Sergio Aguero Injury: Manchester City Star Injures Calf Before Argentina Matches
Manchester City's Sergio Aguero will be forced to watch from the sidelines during Argentina's upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers after suffering a calf injury against West Ham United on Sunday.
According to BBC Sport, the Argentina Football Association revealed the striker will miss both Friday's match against Uruguay and the game with Venezuela the following Wednesday.
"No timescale has been given for his return," which could put him at risk of missing the Manchester derby on September 10.

BBC Sport added that the Argentinian could also face disciplinary charges from the FA for catching Winston Reid with an elbow in the 3-1 win over the Irons at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Aguero had started the season in blistering form with three goals in his first two Premier League matches and a hat-trick against Steaua Bucharest in the UEFA Champions League.
The 28-year-old is among the top talents in world football, let down only by his tendency to spend significant chunks of each season out injured.
According to Transfermarkt, Aguero missed 12 games for City last year.
Fortunately for Argentina, they can also call on the likes of Lionel Messi and Gonzalo Higuain thanks to their wealth of attacking talent, so his absence shouldn't cause huge problems.
As for City, if he is absent for the match with Manchester United it will undoubtedly be a blow, particularly given the chemistry he's developed with Raheem Sterling and Nolito in their front three.
In his stead, the promising Kelechi Iheanacho could come in—he bagged 14 goals in all competitions last year—or summer signing Leroy Sane could make his debut and allow Nolito to move into a central role.
If the Sky Blues are to have the best chance of beating their rivals, though, Aguero needs to be fit.
