Liverpool Transfer News: Latest Lazar Markovic and Mamadou Sakho Exit Rumours
Liverpool are set to let two big-name players leave the club on loan before the summer transfer window slams shut.
Lazar Markovic and Mamadou Sakho have been deemed surplus to requirements at Anfield and are both free to leave on a temporary basis.
Markovic spent last season on loan at Turkish side Fenerbahce, but his campaign was blighted by a series of hamstring injuries.

And although the Serb is back in Merseyside for 2016/17, James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo revealed that the Reds are open to offers to take him on loan.

The 22-year-old touched down at Anfield two summers ago with huge expectation lying at his talented feet. However, performances weren’t good enough, and he quickly found himself scrapping for a place in the side.
Markovic has three years remaining on his contract with the Reds, yet how he’ll be able to work his way back into the team is something of a head-scratcher.
He came to the club on top of his game and expected to set the world alight, but his form and reputation have only gone down since then.

Liverpool seem to be preparing for life without Markovic, and it’s only a matter of time before the Serb prepares for life without Liverpool.
Sakho, too, could well be on the way out. The defender doesn’t feature in manager Jurgen Klopp’s plans for the season ahead and is available for a loan switch.
Sakho has already reportedly turned down an offer from West Bromwich Albion and appears determined to get his place back in the Liverpool side.

However, Stoke City are also sniffing about for his signature, and Melissa Reddy and Loic Tanzi of Goal report that the 26-year-old is weighing up his options before deciding on his future.
When Klopp arrived at Liverpool, he inherited a lacklustre squad. Slowly but surely, the German is building a team he can trust, with new signings proving just as important as shipping out the deadwood.
The likes of Markovic and Sakho can make room for the kind of talent worthy of the famous red shirt who can propel the club back to the summit of England’s top flight.
