Little League World Series 2016: Tuesday Schedule, TV Info, Bracket Predictions
Four elimination games and a consolation game are on tap Tuesday at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and that means desperation baseball should be played throughout the day.
While the Little League World Series remains a day behind schedule because of the rain that forced postponement of all the action Sunday, the majority of Monday's action was tight and exciting.
Mid-Atlantic champion Endwell, New York, used clutch pitching and timely hitting to beat Southeast representative Goodlettsville, Tennessee, by a 3-1 margin. Michael Mancini was dominant on the mound with 13 strikeouts in 5.1 innings, while Ryan Harlost hit a two-run homer to key the victors' attack.

The Canadians routed the defending champions 10-4 in that game.
Mexico dropped its opener to Panama, but the team from Monterrey bounced back with a 12-7 victory over Emilia, Italy (Europe-Africa). Slugger Isaac Cortez belted two home runs for Mexico in that win.
On the U.S. side, West champion Chula Vista, California, will meet Goodlettsville.
Victor Lizarraga threw a two-hit, 5-0 shutout over Southwest champions San Antonio, Texas, to lead Chula Vista to a win in its last game. That victory came after the California team dropped a 5-1 decision to Midwest representative Iowa in the opener.
Goodlettsville came up with a win over Warwick, Rhode Island, in its opener, but the loss to Endwell means that the Tennessee team will be playing to remain alive in Williamsport.
