Olympic Medals 2016: Tracking Final Winners and Tally for Sunday Results
Boxing will dominate the focus on the final day of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, with gold medals up for grabs across four different weight divisions. In particular, Team GB's Joe Joyce and Team USA's Claressa Shields should garner plenty of attention in their respective bids for gold.
Here's the medal tracker and tally for Sunday:
The men's super-heavyweight gold-medal bout is already looking like a fractious affair between Joyce and Tony Yoka. Towering Frenchman Yoka has already described Team GB's Joyce in less than flattering terms, per Joe Dennen of Boxing News: "Joyce is easier for me to know what his boxing style because he’s not smart. He’s a strong guy, physically he’s a monster. But I box with my head so for me it’s better to box Joyce.”

The contentious comments were made before both boxers secured their places in the final. Joyce did so only after rallying to beat Kazakhstan's Ivan Dychko.
A key facet of Joyce's comeback was the way he worked the body, according to Sky Sports: "There was no respite for Dychko, Joyce's relentless forward movement earning him countless opportunities to land punishing body shots."
It's a strategy that could also serve him well against Yoka, provided Joyce can work his way underneath the Frenchman's long jab. Ultimately, Joyce may be better served keeping one of the heavier fighters in this weight class on the move.
Yet, even that's likely to be a tough task for the 30-year-old who is six years senior to Yoka. Expect the latter to take a close bout on points to secure the gold.
A lot of focus will be on Team USA's Shields as she bids to successfully defend her Olympic title in the women's middleweight class against Dutch fighter Nouchka Fontijn.

Shields was emphatic in her semi-final win over Kazakhstan's Dariga Shakimova, earning a unanimous decision. A key to her victory was a relentless onslaught described by TeamUSA.org: "The reigning Olympic, World and Pan American Games champion was playing no games in her second bout of the tournament, firing off her signature right hand, left hook combination and controlling every second of the bout."
Shields cut the ring off for Shakimova, denying her the room to dance away into space. Expect more of the same from the American whose power and punch-in-flurries style will again give her the edge in the final.
There are many more medals for the taking on the final day, including in the men's cycling where the cross-country final will take place.
