Paul Pogba Suspension Revealed by FA Ahead of Bournemouth vs. Manchester United
Paul Pogba will not be eligible to turn out for Manchester United in their opening game of the 2016-17 Premier League season on Sunday against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium after the FA revealed he is suspended:
According to the Manchester Evening News' Rob Dawson, it is a one-match suspension carried over from Italy:

Pogba recently rejoined United from Juventus after a four-year spell with the Serie A giants, with the Old Trafford club spending £89 million on the French midfielder who they let go for a nominal fee in 2012.
But two bookings in last season's Coppa Italia against AC Milan—which he won with Juve—means the 23-year-old will have to wait to pull on the famous red shirt once more, per the FA:
It is unlikely that he would have started against Bournemouth anyway as he has only recently returned from a well-earned holiday following his travails with the France national team at Euro 2016.
New United manager Jose Mourinho may have been planning to give Pogba a brief second-half cameo, but that is no longer a possibility.
The Frenchman will now surely aim to be ready to make his second debut for the Red Devils in front of the Old Trafford faithful against Southampton on August 19.
It could be against Saints that the viewing public get to see how Mourinho plans to utilise Pogba in his midfield, a conundrum recently discussed extensively by a Bleacher Report panel:
Pogba is arguably the most complete midfielder in the world, but Mourinho will have to play him in the right position if he is to get the best out of him.
The Southampton clash should be the first chance to see where Pogba fits in at United and how he fares alongside new signings Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan and established Red Devils Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial.
