Led by phenom Simone Biles, the women's gymnastics program shattered the competition in the qualifying Sunday night. Teenage swimming prodigy Katie Ledecky won her second gold medal with ample time to spare, and the decorated soccer squad has begun its preliminary slate with two triumphs.

They'll all compete Tuesday, giving fans plenty to watch throughout Day 4 in Brazil. Here's a look at the day's schedule, updated medal count and top action on the docket. All events are available to live-stream on NBCOlympics.com.

Women's Gymnastics: Team All-Around Final

The U.S. women's gymnastics squad hasn't won a medal yet, but it has already vaulted head and shoulders above the competition.

Biles, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Laurie Hernandez and Madison Kocian slayed the field in Sunday's team qualifiers. Tallying a 185.238 score, Team USA earned nearly 10 points more than runner-up China.

Before Biles and Raisman go for individual glory in Thursday's all-around final, the powerhouse team can capture gold in Tuesday's all-around final. USA Gymnastics posted the lineups for each exercise:

It's no surprise to see Biles—whose 62.366 score from Sunday soars above Raisman and all others—penciled in for all four categories. After capping off a perfect Olympics debut, the 19-year-old will continue to make her mark in Rio.

Anything short of gold would be a surprise Tuesday night for a stacked American team capable of besting 2012's Fierce Five.

Women's Swimming: 200-Meter Freestyle

Katie Ledecky finally faces a worthy challenge.

On Sunday night, she broke her own world record in the 400-meter freestyle. She had time to finish and celebrate her accomplishment before anyone else reached the end.

Leah Smith—who bolstered the U.S. medal tally by earning a bronze medal—marveled at the teammate who dashed her dreams of seizing gold, per ESPN.com's Johnette Howard:

"

When she does that, part of you is in awe and part of you is trying like crazy to catch up to her. I knew she was going to win. ... But when I saw her take off with 150 meters to go, I knew she was onto something special. It's kind of fun because you hear the crowd going insane and you try to pretend it's for you, even though you know it's for Katie.

"

The 19-year-old easily qualified for the 200-meter freestyle Monday, but the event looms as her biggest obstacle. Along with world-record holder Federica Pellegrini, she must overcome Sweden's Sarah Sjostrom, who edged her out by .16 seconds in Monday's semifinal.

On the same day as Ledecky, the 22-year-old set a world record of her own in the 100-meter butterfly. As noted by NBCOlympics.com's Nick Zaccardi, Sjostrom holds the 200 freestyle's best time (1:54.34) this year. In the world championships team relay, she swam it three-tenths of a second faster, a time that would have blocked Ledecky's sweep in the individual final.

If Ledecky falls short of first in a solo event, it will be to Sjostrom on Tuesday night. Yet she has justified the lofty expectations early in Rio, making every time she's in the pool must-see TV.

Women's Soccer: USA vs. Colombia (Preliminary)

Following two shutout wins, Team USA controls Group G with six points and a plus-three goal differential. Saturday's 1-0 victory over France sealed a quarterfinal spot for the defending Olympic and world champions, but they can insert their dominance during Tuesday's final preliminary bout.

The U.S. can complete the sweep by beating Colombia, which have lost both matches without scoring a goal. With France and New Zealand also facing off at three points apiece, they have no chance of advancing.

This contest doesn't offer thrilling suspense or high-stakes drama, but it's a great opportunity to watch the favorites showcase their skills and tune up for the next stage against an overmatched adversary.

Hope Solo has shielded the net perfectly, and Carli Lloyd has already scored twice in as many games. The 34-year-old is one goal away from matching Abby Wambach's U.S. Olympic record, but she spread hers out more than the retired star, who struck five times in the 2012 London Games.

ESPN Stats & Info's Paul Carr highlighted the Olympic consistency of Lloyd, who tallied the gold game-winners in 2008 and 2012:

Team USA's hero could make history in a lower-leverage situation. For fans who prefer intrigue, France and New Zealand will compete for the final spot, with the former only needing a draw because of the goal-differential tiebreaker.
