Liverpool Transfer News: Ragnar Klavan Deal Close, Latest Marko Pjaca Rumours
Liverpool are reportedly hoping to wrap up a £5 million deal for Augsburg centre-back Ragnar Klavan amid injury worries for Mamadou Sakho and Joe Gomez.
According to the MailOnline's Dominic King, the pair won't be ready for the start of the new Premier League season and cover for Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren is needed, making Klavan a "priority" target.
BBC Sport's Phil McNulty reported the injury to Sakho is to his Achilles tendon, while he also noted the fee for Klavan is slightly lower at £4.2 million.

BT Sport's Archie Rhind-Tutt believes Klavan is a dependable player, while football journalist Artur Petrosyan thinks he can provide cover:
Indeed, that's all the Reds need—an unspectacular player who can be solid and get the job done when called upon. As such, Klavan could make a shrewd purchase.
Meanwhile, according to Calciomercato, Dinamo Zagreb have agreed a transfer fee with Juventus for Marko Pjaca, whom the Italian website (h/t Joel Watson of the Daily Star) have also linked with a move to Anfield.
The Bianconeri have settled on a €25 million (£20.8 million) fee for Pjaca, with whom they've agreed personal terms and a five-year deal.

The winger took to Facebook on Sunday to thank fans for the reception he got in their match with Lokomotiv—perhaps confirming he will be leaving Zagreb.
Pjaca netted 12 goals last season and provided six assists in all competitions. Here are some of his best moments:
The 21-year-old's form earned him a place in Croatia's national side at UEFA Euro 2016, and he impressed with his dribbling skills, per WhoScored.com:
However, following the capture of Sadio Mane, he'd hardly be guaranteed a starting berth at Anfield—which makes the fee a lot of money.
That may also be the case at Juventus given their wealth of wide options, but aside from the money on offer in the Premier League and the chance to work with Jurgen Klopp, the Serie A champions are a far more attractive proposition right now.
