Royal Ascot 2016: Winners, Payouts and Orders of Finish on Friday
France scored a major victory at Royal Ascot on Friday after Qemah won the Coronation Stakes in fine fashion to net a £226,840 payout, with Nemoralia and Alice Springs finishing second and third, respectively.
Earlier in the day, Quiet Reflection won the Commonwealth Cup by less than a length to earn the biggest prize of the day, an impressive £243,853 jackpot.
Frankie Dettori also claimed his fourth win of the festival after riding Across The Stars to victory in the King Edward VII Stakes, continuing his fine run of form at Ascot.
Irish trainer Aidan O'Brien also staged a late shock and claimed his fifth winner of the week after Sword Fighter stormed to a win in the Queen's Vase.

Jean-Claude Rouget at the Double
After helping Ervedya to victory in the 2015 edition of the race, Jean-Claude Rouget doubled up in the Coronation Stakes on Friday and became the first trainer to win successive titles since Michael Stoute in 1986-87.
Gregory Benoist did a fine job of steering Qemah to the fore from the outside path, timing his surge to perfection and ultimately finishing way in front of runner-up Nemoralia, as shown by Channel 4 Racing:
There was also an eerie coincidence to the success of the letter "Q" on Friday, too, with the Queen watching on as Qemah wasn't the only winner with whom she shared something in common:
Friday's win also saw a terrific season for Rouget progress, and it seems likely there will be big things to expect of Qemah in future following a stellar ride from Benoist.
No trainer has ever claimed a hat-trick in the Coronation Stakes—winning the race three years in succession—but Rouget can hope to return and pull off that very feat in 2017.
Dougie Costello Proves Pedigree on Flat

Former jump jockey Dougie Costello claimed the biggest win of his flat-racing career on Friday after delivering trainer Karl Burke the Commonwealth Cup in sensational fashion.
Kachy and Washington DC each pushed the 7-4 favourite to the wire, but it was a confident conversion in the end from Quiet Reflection:
Burke's team were evidently overjoyed with their result, too, as Racing UK provided footage of the moment they saw their triumph come to fruition:
It was only last year that Costello made the decision to transfer his focus to flat racing, and the £243,853 prize pot spoke volumes of the magnitude of his latest success.
Needless to say, Costello will be looking to take even bigger results on flat in future, and Burke will undoubtedly be happy to hand his jockey the opportunities to do so.
