NBA Finals Schedule 2016: Game 3 TV Info and Warriors vs. Cavaliers Prediction
A 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals is good, but a 3-0 lead would pretty much end any threat of a comeback.
This is what the Golden State Warriors are hoping to accomplish in the important Game 3 on Wednesday. While the Cleveland Cavaliers have looked awful through the first two games, the fact remains they are still not out of the series, especially before even playing a game at home.
Returning to Cleveland, where the squad is 7-0 this postseason, could provide a major boost and help get the team back into contention.
While any turnaround will also require major adjustments on both sides of the ball, this might be the last chance for the Cavs before falling short for the second year in a row. This drama should lead to some exciting basketball.

Everyone knew about the Warriors offense coming into the series. It averaged an NBA-best 114.9 points per game behind two of the best individual scorers in the sport in Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
While the Splash Brothers haven't been their dominant selves in this series (averaging a combined 27.5 points in two games after combining for 52.2 points per game during the regular season), the rest of the offense has picked up the slack. Draymond Green had one of his best scoring efforts in Game 2 with 28 points, while bench players such as Shaun Livingston and Leandro Barbosa have also been brilliant.
However, the defense has been a major part of the team's success to this point while holding the Cavaliers to fewer than 90 points in both contests.
ESPN's Seth Greenberg noted the problems with Cleveland's attack:
The Cavs certainly look lost on offense, but the Warriors are the reason because of their versatility to switch on a high percentage of screens. ESPN Stats & Info broke down the difference from the earlier rounds:
After two unsuccessful games, head coach Tyronn Lue will hopefully make some adjustments to get more out of his offense. More ball movement and possibly more post-ups inside to help counter the Warriors' speed could make a difference. Attacking the offensive glass with Tristan Thompson and others will also be vital.
Of course, simply making open shots will help a lot after two games of struggling to hit anything.
Still, the upcoming game might come down to more than just physical play and coaching strategy. Mentality will play a major role, especially for a Cleveland team that has appeared overmatched. The Eastern Conference champions have to believe they can win a game and fight to the finish to get it.
LeBron James believes the effort level will be as high as possible for Game 3, per ESPN.com's Dave McMenamin:
"Obviously, it's a do-or-die game for us. We can't afford to go down 3-0 to any team, especially a team that's 73-9 in the regular season and playing the type of basketball they're playing. So it's a do-or-die game for us, and we understand that.
So we're going to come in and give everything that we've got and leave it on the floor.
"
If James, Kyrie Irving and the rest of the Cavaliers do give it their all in their home arena, they have a chance to pull off the upset. As bad as they looked, this is still one of the best teams in the NBA.
With the way Cleveland has contained Golden State's best players, the home team will just need some missed shots from the supporting cast to stay competitive. From there, James needs to take over and lead his team to victory.
Prediction: Cavaliers 105, Warriors 102
