NBA Finals 2016: Cavaliers vs. Warriors Game 2 TV Schedule, Live Stream and Odds
The 2016 NBA Finals will resume Sunday night with the Golden State Warriors looking to grab a 2-0 series lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Despite a poor shooting night from Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson in Game 1, the Warriors got an easy 104-89 win thanks to a dominant performance from the bench, led by Shaun Livingston's 20 points. The Cavaliers got a good performance from their three stars, getting 26, 23 and 17 points from Kyrie Irving, LeBron James and Kevin Love, respectively.
However, the Cavs' supporting cast was sorely missed. Channing Frye and J.R. Smith had been scorching from three-point range throughout the playoffs, but they no-showed Game 1 of the Finals. As Basketball Reference noted, the Cavs will need Frye and Smith if they want to have a chance in this series:
Game 2 will tip off at 8 p.m. ET Sunday night and air on ABC. For those who prefer to stream the game, you can catch it on WatchESPN.
Unsurprisingly, the Warriors are favored to win Game 2. Odds Shark currently has the Dubs as six-point favorites over the Cavs. The public favors the Warriors as well, as 56 percent of the bets are on the defending champs.
Odds Shark also expects a fairly high-scoring game, as the over/under is set at 208.5. The public, again, agrees with Odds Shark, and the same 56 percent of the bets are on the over.
If Curry and Thompson rediscover their shooting touches, it's hard to imagine the Cavs evening the series on the road. Unless the role players for the Cavs turn in dominant performances, look for the Warriors to head to Cleveland up 2-0.
