Real Madrid Transfer News: Zinedine Zidane's Top Targets, Latest Blancos Rumours
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane could have a major rebuild ahead of him this summer, and the latest reports have indicated Lucas Lima and Victor Lindelof could be on their way to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Santos attacker Lima put Los Merengues on high alert after telling Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte they were one of the clubs he could envision himself representing (h/t the Sun's Anthony Chapman): “I don’t want to leave for any club. I want to play for a big team from Europe. There are many...Barcelona, Real Madrid, [Paris Saint-Germain], Chelsea.”

Talk of Lima's exit from Santos has spiralled in recent weeks, and his price could also rise after he was named in Brazil manager Dunga's squad for the 2016 Copa America.
South American Sky Sports correspondent Paulo Freitas recently cited Brazilian outlet Lancenet to attest to talks already being underway with a pair of European outfits:
Real Madrid's recruitment this summer may depend largely on who leaves their ranks first, with Isco and James Rodriguez among those who play a similar position to Lima.
However, South American football expert Rupert Fryer doesn't believe the 25-year-old is ready for the stage of the Bernabeu just yet:
Lima scored four goals and recorded nine assists in 31 Brazilian Serie A appearances for Santos last year, per Transfermarkt, and he may not have a chance to get his 2016 campaign started in earnest before moving this summer.
Los Blancos are also linked with a move for Benfica defender Lindelof, Spanish daily AS reporting they lead the hunt for his signature alongside Barcelona, while Manchester United are also interested (h/t the Mirror's Ed Malyon).

Central defence could be an area of some concern for Zidane, after Pepe turned 33 in February and will soon enter the final year of his contract in the Spanish capital.
What's more, Raphael Varane recently informed AFP he doesn't "feel important" at Real, having dropped behind Pepe and Sergio Ramos in the pecking order (h/t Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News):
"Until November I played in almost every game. I'm at a crucial stage in the season. I know my qualities and I know what I'm capable of doing. But it's true there have been a few unusual mistakes.
I think a footballer needs to play to thrive and to feel important. This is true for all players. I try to keep working every day to improve.
"
Lindelof, 21, broke through at the Estadio da Luz this season and made a total of 23 first-team appearances as Benfica made a triumphant march to the Primeira Liga crown.
However, the €40 million (£31 million) price tag the Eagles are reported to have placed on the Sweden international could be an obstacle as Real jostle for the centre-back's services.
