Chelsea Transfer News: Latest Players Wanted by Antonio Conte, Fresh Rumours
Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will reportedly return to his native Italy for recruitment this summer following reports the Blues are in talks to sign Napoli's Gonzalo Higuain, while Roma's Radja Nainggolan is a "primary target."
According to Squawka's Greg Stobart, Chelsea are already in negotiations to purchase Higuain, but they have been quoted an astronomical £65 million figure if they're to sign the Argentina ace.

However, Stobart added the west Londoners are hoping to do business at around two-thirds of that fee (£42 million) as they look to bring in a new world-class forward.
Higuain certainly seems to tick that box after he broke the all-time record for goals scored in a single Serie A season (36) in 2015-16, establishing himself as a Napoli icon, per BT Sport Football:
Everton's Romelu Lukaku and Juventus frontman Alvaro Morata are also being examined by Chelsea, according to Stobart's report, with Diego Costa, Loic Remy, Radamel Falcao and Alexandre Pato all potentially heading for the exit.
Ex-Italy striker Luca Toni even went so far as to dub Higuain a better player than Barcelona's Luis Suarez after breaking Serie A's goalscoring record, per Nigerian broadcaster Deji Kofi Faremi:
Meanwhile, Conte is reported to have made Roma anchor Nainggolan his "No. 1 target" this summer as the Blues look to increase their initial offer for the Belgium international, per the Telegraph's Matt Law.
The Mirror's John Cross reported in April that a £28 million fee had been agreed between the two clubs, but Kristof Terreur of Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws more recently proclaimed negotiations were ongoing:
According to Law, Chelsea would be expected to up their bid to "around £32 million" in order to have a hope of landing the midfielder, as well as handing Nainggolan a substantial increase on his Roma salary.
Law added the 28-year-old reportedly has little motivation to leave the Giallorossi, not to mention departing for a Chelsea team that just finished 10th in the Premier League.

However, Law also reported that with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia taking the reins in negotiations, the west Londoners still feel confident about pushing a transfer over the line.
Italy coach Conte will arrive at Stamford Bridge after the conclusion of Euro 2016, but already the Azzurri boss is looking to make his imprint at Chelsea with an injection of Serie A sizzle.
