Liverpool Transfer News: Adam Lallana Responds to Tottenham Talk, Latest Rumours
Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has rejected reports linking him with a move to Tottenham Hotspur and insisted he is enjoying his time "at a massive club."
The English winger moved from Southampton to Anfield in 2014 for £25 million and is enjoying an excellent second season under manager Jurgen Klopp as part of a Liverpool side that have reached both the Capital One Cup and UEFA Europa League finals—they lost the former to Manchester City and play the latter against Sevilla on Wednesday.
Mike McGrath in the Sun recently reported that former Saints manager Mauricio Pochettino is lining up a move to take Lallana to Spurs in the summer. But the 28-year-old said he is happy where he is, per Andy Hunter in the Guardian:

"No, not for me. I’ve got three years left on my contract and I’m really enjoying my football under this manager and getting to two cup finals. I have always had a good relationship with Pochettino. We are very good friends off the pitch but I am at a massive club, playing some of my best football and getting to cup finals. It would be very difficult. I’m sure he knows that.
"
Lallana's debut season on Merseyside was somewhat disappointing, but he has improved since Klopp's appointment as manager in October last year, netting a combined seven goals and providing seven assists in the Europa League and Premier League in 2015-16, per WhoScored.com.
Hugely versatile, the former Bournemouth attacker can operate through the middle and on either flank. He has been utilised in a variety of positions by Klopp and has proved very effective, per Squawka:
Indeed, he has done enough to earn a place in Roy Hodgson's provisional 26-man England squad for the summer's Euro 2016 tournament in France, and he could play a key role out wide for the Three Lions.
Given Lallana's excellence under Klopp it always seemed unlikely Liverpool would be open to letting him join Spurs, and the player himself is clearly eager to remain part of the German manager's project at Anfield.
It is a project that has already proved effective and Liverpool could even be a UEFA Champions League club again next season if they beat Sevilla in the Europa League final.
No matter the result against the defending champions, though, Klopp is likely to make major changes to his squad in the summer transfer window.

One potential target could reportedly be Ajax striker Arkadiusz Milik, with the 22-year-old being eyed by both Liverpool and local rivals Everton, per Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo (via the Express' Uche Amako).
Per WhoScored.com, Milik netted 21 Eredivisie goals in 2015-16 and could be an exciting addition to the Liverpool attack.
The Reds could do with further strength up front as Daniel Sturridge is a consistent injury concern, while 2015 summer signing Christian Benteke does not seem to fit well into Klopp's system. Sturridge has even been linked to Arsenal, per B/R's Dean Jones:
The former Borussia Dormtund boss has a history of working very effectively with young forwards—see Marco Reus, Robert Lewandowski and Mario Gotze—and could well mould Milik into a top-class player should Liverpool snap him up in the summer.
