Barcelona were treated to a hero's welcome upon making their return to Catalonia's capital on Sunday, when they embarked upon a glorious victory parade after sealing the Primera Division title just 24 hours earlier.

The Blaugrana defeated Granada 3-0 in Andalusia on Saturday to finally put the finishing touches on their league triumph, sealing a sixth La Liga crown in the space of just eight seasons.

As is tradition, a double-decker bus carried the triumphant team through the city, weaving from Barcelona's World Trade Center and past the Plaza de Espanya to the finishing point at Avenida de Rius i Taulet.

Barcelona's official YouTube channel livestreamed the entire event straight from the team bus, gazing out upon a sea of red, blue and yellow:

Los Azulgranas have cemented their place as the team to beat in Spain over the past decade or so, and Sunday's march was but another celebration of their mercurial efforts to seal this season's league crown.

The club's official Twitter account was swift to jump on the bandwagon and laud a second successive title triumph, which made Barca the first team to win back-to-back trophies since they did so in 2010:

Of course, manager Luis Enrique is deserving of his own share of praise, having beaten off early criticism during his tenure to maintain a 100 percent winning Primera Division record at the Camp Nou.

Among his admirers sits club president Josep Maria Bartomeu, who took to his official Twitter account to hail the talents of the team's chief tactician:

And like Enrique, superstar Neymar kept up his sterling La Liga record, contributing 24 goals in 34 league appearances en route to his second league win in as many seasons since moving to Spain in 2013.

Per his official Instagram, Neymar was seated up front and took on the role of composer as the Barca bus milled its way through the city's streets:

The Brazil icon even rewarded himself with a familiar treat during the celebrations. After having fast food delivered during last year's parade, per the Independent's James Orr, Neymar again feasted on a deserved diet of burgers:

An even greater impact on the 2015-16 success, though, came in the form of Pichichi Award-winner Luis Suarez, who netted 40 goals in 35 games to bag La Liga's top-scorer award, including 15 in his last five games.

The club made sure to stick their Uruguayan front and centre for Sunday's parade, right where he belongs:

The final piece of the MSN trio, Lionel Messi, eventually made his way to the forefront to revel in the celebrations alongside his strike-force partners:

Defender Dani Alves holds a far more established connection with Barcelona, and he left little room for imagination when reciprocating his adoration for the fans:

Midfielder Ivan Rakitic arrived a year later than Neymar and boasts a better title-per-season average in Catalonia, having won La Liga in both his campaigns with the club:

Javier Mascherano and Sergi Roberto also delighted in Sunday's festivities after having their own impacts on the title-winning tilt:

Players rained confetti and applause from atop their double-decker perch, and an overall sense of joy and good will emanated throughout the city, both among the crowd and its most hallowed athletes.

Roberto provided another look at the sensational scenes on offer as Barcelona erupted upon seeing its stars near the end of their Sunday tour:

Bleacher Report's Rik Sharma was also on hand to capture the moment in its beauty, with the sunny setting befitting of the occasion:

The exciting thing for any Barcelona fan is that their haul may yet grow further, with a Copa del Rey final against Sevilla next Sunday to think about.

Many within this Barcelona squad may still remember the historic Primera Division three-peat they recorded between 2009 and 2011, and Enrique's preparations now begin as he attempts to replicate that feat next year.
