Twitter Reacts as Tottenham Capitulate at Newcastle
Tottenham went into the final day of the season two points ahead of fierce rivals Arsenal, knowing that they needed at least a point against relegated Newcastle to finish ahead of the Gunners for the first time since 1995.
It seemed like a highly achievable task for the Lilywhites, but the prospect of another "St. Totteringham's Day" loomed when Arsenal took an early lead over Aston Villa and Georginio Wijnaldum put the Magpies ahead after 19 minutes:
