Chelsea Transfer News: Latest Juan Cuadrado and Radamel Falcao Rumours
Antonio Conte has demanded Chelsea do not sell Juan Cuadrado ahead of his impending arrival at the club, according to Fichajes (h/t Alex Wood of the Daily Star).
The Colombian winger appeared to be heading toward the Stamford Bridge exit following his failed six-month spell under former manager Jose Mourinho.
However, per Wood, with Conte’s appointment confirmed—the Italy coach will take over from temporary manager Guus Hiddink after his duties are concluded at Euro 2016—he has made it clear to club officials he wants to work with the player.

Following a loan spell at Serie A leaders Juventus this term, the right-winger has returned to his dazzling best, scoring four goals and providing five assists in 14 league starts, per WhoScored.com.
Italian football expert James Horncastle believes Conte will be eager to work alongside Cuadrado:
The 27-year-old joined the west Londoners from Fiorentina in February 2015 in a deal worth £27 million. However, the versatile Colombia international failed to make the grade in English football and featured in just 13 league matches before his Portuguese coach sent him back to Italy.
However, as a former Juve coach, Conte is willing to provide Cuadrado with a second chance to prove himself, despite the Italian giants being reportedly desperate to seal a permanent deal, as Wood writes.
Elsewhere; another Chelsea flop could be on his way to Serie A, with Roma reportedly interested in signing Radamel Falcao, per Corriere dello Sport (h/t Joe Short of the Express).
The fellow Colombia international is not expected to extend his loan spell with the Blues at the end of the current campaign following another dismal season.
The ex-Manchester United loanee has made just 12 appearances all term, 10 of which came from off the bench, per WhoScored.com.
Per Short, Falcao—formerly one of Europe’s most lethal strikers—will return to parent club Monaco. However, the Ligue 1 side are desperate to remove his huge wage packet off their books and will seek to sell on the 30-year-old striker at the earliest moment.
As reported by Squawka, Falcao has also been linked with a move to the MLS in recent times:
Roma are reportedly the most interested party after pinpointing the ex-Porto front man as the ideal replacement for Bosnia and Herzegovina striker Edin Dzeko.
However, per Short, there are two key stumbling blocks to the possible move, including the Romans being unwilling to match his £5.5 million per season contract and complications regarding Falcao’s work permit.
