Arsenal Transfer News: Hector Bellerin Wanted, Latest Henrikh Mkhitaryan Rumours
Manchester City and Bayern Munich have reportedly joined Barcelona in the race to sign Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin, while the agent of Gunners target Henrikh Mkhitaryan has informed Juventus that the Armenian is set to sign a new deal with Borussia Dortmund.
According to Spanish daily El Confidencial (h/t TalkSport), City and Bayern have become the latest clubs to join the list of teams looking at former Barcelona man Bellerin, who has been linked with a return to the Camp Nou.
The 21-year-old signed a new deal with the Gunners last summer and isn't expected to leave north London anytime soon, but that won't stop those clubs from trying. Per Le 10 Sport (h/t Metro's Max Miller), Paris-Saint Germain are also looking at the Spaniard.

Bellerin maintains he has no interest in leaving Arsenal, as he told Goal (h/t Sport):
"I left Barca without looking back. I left focused on London and Arsenal and I am really happy there.
I signed a new deal last year and there's still a lot in front of me. It's a club that's forming a great team, with players like Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
My future is there and I am happy where I am. A lot of things can happen in football, but I am at Arsenal, giving my all for the club. I am not thinking of going anywhere else.
"
Bellerin moved to Arsenal from Barcelona in 2013 and replaced an injured Mathieu Debuchy in the starting XI during the 2014-15 season. That proved to be the breakthrough he needed, as he quickly established himself as one of the top young right-backs in Europe with a series of strong performances.
His form has carried over to the 2015-16 campaign, and he has started 28 of Arsenal's 30 Premier League matches so far, per WhoScored.com.
Bellerin seems happy in north London, and he recently looked back on some of the best memories from his time with Barcelona and Arsenal:
As one of Arsenal's top young stars, Bellerin will be close to untouchable during the summer transfer window, and only a direct transfer request could likely lead to a move.
The likes of Barcelona, City, PSG and Bayern have the financial strength to come up with tempting offers, but the Gunners aren't strapped for cash themselves and don't need to sell.
Bellerin is expected to return to Barcelona one day, but that day likely won't arrive in the near future. The Catalans will be on the lookout for someone to replace longtime starter Dani Alves, who is slowly nearing the end of his career, and the Arsenal youngster would be perfect for the role.
City could use an upgrade on Bacary Sagna, and Bayern will have to start preparing for life without Philipp Lahm soon. PSG have a star youngster on the books, but Serge Aurier's role has become unclear in the wake of his controversial comments that got him suspended, per Miller.
Elsewhere, Mino Raiola, the representative of Dortmund star Mkhitaryan, has reportedly told Juventus the attacking midfielder will not be leaving Signal Iduna Park, per Sky Sport Italia (h/t Football Italia). Arsenal were also interested in his services, per the report.

The Armenia international has reportedly been offered a lucrative contract extension, and Mkhitaryan seems set to sign. As shared by WhoScored.com, he's more than deserving of a pay raise based on his play this season:
Mkhitaryan is finally delivering on the huge promise he showed while he was with Shakhtar Donetsk, as new Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel has unlocked his full potential.
Under former manager and current Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, Mkhitaryan was a good player, but he's been nothing short of spectacular in 2015-16.
Bleacher Report's James McNicholas looked at how he would fit in at the Emirates Stadium, and it sounds tantalising.
He wrote:
"When looking at how he might fit into the Arsenal team, there are a mouthwatering array of options. He’s an incredibly versatile player who can operate from either flank or as a conventional No. 10. Wenger’s preferred option would surely be to implement Mkhitaryan into the three players who operate behind his centre-forward.
"
But Dortmund are apparently keen to keep hold of their midfield star for obvious reasons, and as soon as he puts pen to paper on an extension, his price will rise considerably.
His current deal runs out in 2017, and if that's still the case when the summer window opens, a bargain might become a possibility.
