Chelsea Transfer News: Juventus Plan Oscar Bid, Latest Paul Pogba Rumours
Juventus are reportedly set to return for Chelsea star Oscar with a £24 million move having failed to sign the Brazilian in the January transfer window.
According to Italian outlet Tuttosport (via TalkSport), likely incoming Blues manager Antonio Conte wants to rebuild the Chelsea midfield, and Oscar is not necessarily part of his plans, thus Juve are preparing to "pounce" for the 24-year-old playmaker.
Oscar has not been an ever-present this season in the Chelsea first XI, starting 19 of the Blues' 30 Premier League games and scoring three goals, per WhoScored.com.

While it has not been his best season—nor Chelsea's for that matter—he has excelled at Stamford Bridge in the past, winning the UEFA Europa League, the Capital One Cup and the Premier League title since his £19.35 million move from Internacional in 2012.
He recently said that he plans to stay in west London for the foreseeable future, per Chelsea TV (via the Daily Star's Jamie Anderson): "I want to stay here for a long time. I want to win more games, more trophies, because I love Chelsea, I love the fans. I like the city, my family like it here."
However, if he is not in Conte's plans, then he could well be pushed to the exit door, and the Blues could seemingly make a profit on the Brazil international.
Chelsea have had a dire season in 2015-16, and Conte will have a big job on his hands to turn the club's fortunes around if he is appointed.
One of the benefits of the Blues appointing the current Italy manager would be his ability to attract big-name players to the club even without the offer of UEFA Champions League football, according to Bleacher Report's Dean Jones:
One of the biggest names with whom the Blues have been linked with for some time is Juve's Paul Pogba, a player who Conte brought to the Old Lady when he was in charge at the Italian club in 2012, per Dan King in the Sun.
However, Chelsea have been dealt a blow after the French midfielder's agent, Mino Raiola, revealed Pogba would be open to signing a new contract at Juve, per Gazzetta World (via Sky Sports' Patrick Surlis):
"Nothing has changed for Paul compared to a year ago. Juventus and Paul are on the same page here.
Juve won't accept anything less than €100 million (£78.9 million) for his sale and I agree with that, though he is more than happy to remain with the Bianconeri. We are even ready to sign a new contract.
Paul has surprised me in a positive way over the past few seasons. He was a talent before, but he is the real deal now, he is a champion through and through.
"
The Blues could afford to meet Juve's asking price for Pogba, and he could be the signing they need to return them to the upper echelons of the Premier League and Champions League.
However, if he signs a new contract with the Italian giants—his current deal runs to 2019—Chelsea's hopes of snapping up the 23-year-old star will be dashed.
