Liverpool's Champions League Final Comeback Against AC Milan Still Baffles Kaka
Former AC Milan playmaker Kaka admitted the 2005 UEFA Champions League final against Liverpool continues to leave him a little baffled.
The Serie A giants were cruising to victory in Istanbul with a 3-0 lead at half-time, but Rafa Benitez's side turned it around, with goals from Steven Gerrard, Vladimir Smicer and Xabi Alonso sending the game to extra time and then penalties.
Jerzy Dudek's subsequent heroics helped secure the trophy for the Reds, with the Pole saving three spot-kicks to secure a famous victory. Kaka scored with his spot-kick, but he is still scratching his head as to how they threw it away.

He told Radio Cope, per Daily Mirror:
"Honestly, years later I still can't understand how we managed to lose that game. We had the best defenders in the world in that team.
Our back four was Cafu, Jaap Stam, Alessandro Nesta and Paolo Maldini but we still let in three goals in six minutes. Something amazing happened that can't be explained.
All you can really say is that in football these things can happen. Especially in the Champions League, we have seen truly incredible things happen.
"

A pretty decent analysis from the Orlando City captain.
