Manchester United Transfer News: Latest on James Rodriguez and Isco Rumours
Speculation surrounding the future of Real Madrid stars James Rodriguez and Isco continues to mount, and according to the latest rumours from Spain, Los Blancos will listen to offers for both during the upcoming summer transfer window. Manchester United are reportedly keeping an eye on the situation.
AS' Alvaro de la Rosa reports the two will be available “for the right price” following persistent struggles in the 2015-16 campaign. President Florentino Perez is reportedly unhappy neither player has improved under new head coach Zinedine Zidane, and his patience is starting to wear out.

Rodriguez picked up an injury early in the season and has failed to rediscover his form, and according to De la Rosa, his decision to ask for a pay rise did not sit well with Los Blancos. United, Manchester City and Chelsea are reportedly all interested in the Colombia international.
The 24-year-old looked sensational in his first season with Real, regularly scoring outrageous goals. Here's a look at some of his greatest hits:
Per WhoScored.com, he has scored five goals and added six assists in La Liga this season, but most of those have come against some of the division's smaller teams. In the big matches, he has routinely underperformed.
He was also reportedly involved in a high-speed pursuit involving the Spanish police, per Adam Shergold for MailOnline, and he has been criticised for being overweight as well, per MailOnline's Nicholas Godden.
None of that sounds particularly appealing, but it's important to note Rodriguez was regarded as a possible future Ballon d'Or winner less than a year ago. The Colombian is a remarkable talent whose Real career seems to be on the wrong track, and a move to a new club could be just what he needs.
And unlike a host of other star players, he might be a realistic transfer target for the Red Devils, due to the issues he's facing right now, per BBC Sport's Andy West:
That doesn't mean a transfer is likely, however. Real understand full well just how talented Rodriguez is, and they're just as likely to give the midfielder a chance to redeem himself after one poor season.
It's worth remembering Los Blancos face a transfer ban that will kick in after the summer, providing they manage to push it back by appealing, per Ed Malyon of the Daily Mirror. That means they might not be able to find a suitable replacement for Rodriguez in time, and Real won't jeopardise their depth that way.

Isco's situation is a little different. The Spain international, who has also been linked with the Red Devils, per the Daily Mirror's Football Spy, didn't cost Real nearly as much money as Rodriguez did, per De la Rosa.
His value has risen since moving to the Spanish capital, and a host of clubs have been linked with a move as well. Per WhoScored.com, Zidane continues to give the 23-year-old plenty of minutes and chances to prove himself, indicating the manager still has some faith in his abilities.
Here's a look at some of Isco's top highlights:
Isco is less of a scoring threat than Rodriguez, but his ability to drift between defenders and pick out open spaces is almost unparalleled. His vision and intelligence stand out, along with his dribbling, and he's versatile enough to split out wide or run things from a central role.
But his emotions have got the best of him multiple times this season, and that may be what's pushing him out of the exit door.
He made headlines by getting sent off in the Clasico against Barcelona, and his childish reaction to getting substituted against Las Palmas didn't help his case to be a regular starter. One fan shared a video of the incident:

Like Rodriguez, Isco is a young, supremely talented player who will be wanted by a host of clubs, but Real would have the chance to turn a profit on him if they sold him this summer.
And with a host of talented midfielders waiting to take his place, the decision to move him may not be a difficult one. Mateo Kovacic has already flashed his potential in the iconic white kit, and Marco Asensio will push for playing time when he returns from his successful loan spell with Espanyol.
