Ireland vs. Scotland: Date, Live Stream, TV Info and Six Nations 2016 Preview
Ireland and Scotland have enjoyed differing fortunes during the 2016 Six Nations.
Although they sit only one point apart in the standings, Scotland are on the up after a winless tournament last year having won back-to-back Six Nations matches for the first time in three years.
Meanwhile, Ireland are somewhat in the doldrums having won just once in this year's competition, quite a comedown following consecutive titles in 2014 and 2015.
The two teams now meet at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on the final weekend, with Scotland looking to continue their resurgent form, and Ireland aiming to salvage something from a disappointing tournament.

Ireland Looking to Build on Italy Win

Ireland finally showed some of their best rugby last time out against Italy as they scored nine tries to win 58-15 in Dublin.
It had not been a happy tournament before that for Joe Schmidt's side, with back-to-back defeats to France and England having followed an opening-day draw with Wales.
Despite their drubbing of Italy, captain Rory Best wants further improvements on Saturday, per BBC Sport's Lyle Jackson: "We will need to be better next week against Scotland, and we will be better."
They will again be without full-back Rob Kearney because of a hamstring injury, per BBC Sport.
However, following Simon Zebo's excellent performance at 15 against Italy, that may not be as big a blow as it could have been.
As noted by former England star Will Greenwood, Munster's Zebo was excellent against Italy as Ireland finally made their presence known at the Six Nations:
He will be vital against Scotland if Ireland are to produce another attacking masterclass and look to force themselves into a respectable third-place finish, the likely best they can do with Wales facing Italy on the final weekend.
Here are the current standings with one round to go:
| # | Team | Played | Won | Drawn | Lost | For | Against | Points |
| 1 | England | 4 | 4 | 0 | 0 | 101 | 49 | 8 |
| 2 | Wales | 4 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 83 | 74 | 5 |
| 3 | Scotland | 4 | 2 | 0 | 2 | 97 | 80 | 4 |
| 4 | France | 4 | 2 | 0 | 2 | 61 | 78 | 4 |
| 5 | Ireland | 4 | 1 | 1 | 2 | 93 | 62 | 3 |
| 6 | Italy | 4 | 0 | 0 | 4 | 65 | 157 | 0 |
Ireland are set to come up against an in-form and well-motivated Scotland side.
Their 29-18 defeat of France on Sunday handed rivals England the Six Nations title, but it also signalled the end of a 10-year winless streak for the Scots against Les Bleus.
Stuart Hogg, Duncan Taylor and Tim Visser were the try-scorers for Vern Cotter's side against France and sealed a win that saw Scotland equal their best points return in the Six Nations over the last decade.
Not since 2006 have the Scots won three matches in a tournament, and thus they will be desperate to beat Ireland and claim a likely third place on Saturday.
Per BBC Sport, key Scottish forwards Jonny Gray and David Denton will be missing for the Dublin clash.
And coach Vern Cotter warned that Ireland's extra day of preparation for the meeting could be key, per the Scotsman:
"Ireland do have an advantage in that they have a day more than us to recover, a day more than us to prepare. So we’ll take it as it comes, the first priority is to recover. It was a physical game out there so we’ll see how we front up tomorrow and see what we do – we might only be able to train one day. That’s just the way it is.
"
But the possibility of revenge should also drive the Scottish team on Saturday following their 40-10 mauling by Ireland at Murrayfield on the final day of last year's tournament.
There should be no such thrashing this year as Scotland look a much better outfit, and Ireland are not quite the force they were.
While there is no title to play for there is still plenty at stake in the match, and it should be a fiercely contested encounter.
